Cool technology, nice package, limited utility.

Let me start off with a few quick-hitters:
1. It's light, but very thick.
2. I didn't think of this when I bought it, but where in the world am I going to carry this thing when I'm not using it?
3. It charges fast! Only took ~20 minutes to go from empty to full.
4. Instructions for loading the paper wasn't super clear in regards to which side is up or down (white, printing side is face-up). You put down this blue calibration sheet first, but it doesn't really tell you what to do with it. Just leave it in - the first time you print, it will automatically calibrate, spit it out, and then print.
5. The app required to use the printer is straightforward, but lags behind Instagram in terms of simple but powerful editing.
6. Printing is quick - maybe 15 seconds?
7. Print comes out completely developed and dry, thanks to the nifty Zink (Zero Ink) technology.
8. Quality is okay. It's a little muddy, and the color is cooler than the app indicates.
9. You're supposed to be able to stick the pictures to stuff if you want to. I didn't try, but the backing paper doesn't have a dedicated corner to peel up so I'm sure that's fun.
All in all, this is a neat (but odd) mod. I'm sure there's a certain kind of person out there who would go nuts for this, and it'd be a definite conversation piece at parties if you've got friends who appreciate this kind of thing. On the flipside, one has to wonder why anyone would ever need this mod. Who out there was asking for this?
I personally don't see the value, especially at retail. I can appreciate the technology behind it, but to me its utility is extremely limited. It's a very niche device that seems like it'll only appeal to a very specific subset of people - those that are social, like quirky things, own a Moto Z, and have money to spare.
I'm happy to see Motorola partnering with companies to bring us additional mods with different functions, though! While this particular mod may not be useful to me, I'm sure there's someone out there who's been dying for something like this to come out. If you're that person, congratulations - this is a very well-made mod that will perform it's job admirably.

This thing is big. It adds a ton of weight and is really mostly a gimmick. The pictures print about the size of the pictures you get in elementary school to hand out to your friends. The print quality is good but it’s a bit pricy for something that won’t be a daily use object.

it easy set up and pic come out ok, you have choose setting before print so pic comes out better. battery on it not so great after 5-7 prints on a full charge goes to 60%-70%, yes you have to charge it before putting on the phone

This is huge fun, especially for grandkids. However, it sucks the battery life out of your phone if you do not reboot the phone after using.

Daughter uses this mod with her phone all the time. Instead of lugging around a separate instant camera, it's convenient to have it attached to your phone already. Quick, nice small pictures in an instant to give to her friends.

I already have one of these printers. Wore it out, so this one is a replacement. I like this because I don't need wifi or bluetooth to use it. Just snap it onto my moto z 4+ and print

I am happy with my purchase. This is definitely a unique Moto Mod. I was looking at buying one of those mini printers before I saw this came out. I was apart of the pre-order. The print quality isn't the greatest, but it is good enough. I feel like all my pictures print out with a blue hue.

The Polaroid is making a come back, and this is really cool since it attaches to your Moto Z. Like other people have mentioned this item has a serious battery issue problem. I power cycled the battery five times (full charge/full drain) before i started using it routinely. It will be fully charged and i can use it and it will go from 80 to 30% with one print, and sometimes just run out of battery as it's printing wasting your film. If i could do it again, i would not have purchased this for 200 bucks. Be prepared for it to completely quit working in about 5-8 months, and good luck trying to get any support through the motorola's website.
