    Decent Replacement Phone

I purchased the Moto X with Best Buy insurance as a replacement for my Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD when it froze. This has been a decent replacement phone so far. The camera is pretty good and display is nice. I'm still getting used to all of the features and I like the Moto Voice. It's also super fast (at least compared to my old phone) and has a good battery life. Minor complaints - no flashing light for notifications. I've gotten used to it and it does have notification system, but I guess I was used to an actual light. The phone I purchased was only 16gb and there's no card slot for extra storage. I like the look of the recent apps tiles when you tap the square, but I do not like that it seems to keep everything from the beginning of time. I also miss the smart actions from the Razr Maxx. It seems like it had much more flexibility and options than the current setup. These aren't big issues, but just enough to not give it the 5th star. I'm sure there's a lot more that I can learn, but I haven't gone through all of the features yet. Overall, I would say that this is a good and reliable phone that's user friendly and once you get through all the little differences and quirks, you will be satisfied with it.

    Perfect for Me

It is nice to have a phone that is easy to use. In the beginning it was a bit weird getting use to the changes from my older Motorola. It is so light and slim and it fits anywhere easily. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone. The only negative thing has to do with Best Buy. Best Buy does a poor job in supporting anything that is not a Galaxy or Apple product. I could not get a protective case or anti scratch film to protect the screen. The response is that I can go online and find something. It would be nice if Best Buy would support this product or anything else with the basics. They spend to much time and space in the stores supporting the two other products. It was disappointing after I bought the phone that as a customer they could not finish the experience without being told to go somewhere else to buy what is needed. I love my phone!

After having the original MotoX and having a clean user experience free of bloatware, I was unable to go to another phone with any type of overlay such as touchwiz or the associated bloatware that the other android devices have. The newest motoX is even better than the first with a clean user experience. The active notifications are fantastic. Hands free voice commands are near flawless. The wake up command could be a bit more consistent. The build and quality of this device is second to none. I have noticed some lag from time to time mostly associated with running facebook. I'm wondering if this might be an issue with facebook that will freeze things up on occasion.

This is my first cell phone and I am taking it slowly to learn all I need to know regarding its capabilities. The screen size is great, I can send messages that I can actually read. I love how when you rotate the unit it makes the screen wider! Was very easy to load the names of my family and friends with their phone numbers and any other pertinent information needed. LOVE the 1 button dialing!!!

We bought two of these so my husband and I could have the same phone. It makes life easier for the less than tech savvy consumer. Overall we really like the phone. The battery life is good and the screen is very crisp and clear. It was very handy when we traveled because we just swapped SIM cards with a Know Roaming SIM card and traveled anywhere we wanted without worrying about high priced provider plans. The price is great, especially for people who don't need or want all the extras on iPhone or Samsung. It also doesn't have all the bloatware they put on the other phones. It does respond very well to our voices and we use voice control a lot of the time. My only complaint is the sound. It is sometimes hard to hear especially if you're someplace noisy. Otherwise it's a great affordable phone.

Got this, my first smartphone, when I switched out other equipment.. Tied to Verizon, not my favorite but very good coverage. Screen is great, and larger than earlier models, easier to manipulate and very good TV and video playback. Ability to switch between wi-fi and Verizon is helpful, First week was difficult adjustment to both smartphone, this system is not intuitive for this user but I'm slowly adjusting. Lack of accessories such as a good case is somewhat frustrating but not a deal-breaker, fits nicely into a pocket of jeans. Sound reproduction is very good for voice, I don't use it for music. Jury still out on Verizon service.

A great phone for anyone. The phone is very nice with the features that it has. I like the fact that it has an easy access camera. Just two twists of wrist and the camera is ready to go. I also love the fact that it is very intuitive to your needs when you are at home, on the road, or at work. If the battery life were longer I would give it a 5 instead of a four and a half.

Excellent Phone in Need of a Better Camera

After having this phone for over month now I can safely say I have no regrets about my purchase. It is definitely one of the best phones on the market. It's even better now that it's upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Also have no regrets buying this phone through Best Buy. Overall, this a great phone and would be perfect if the rear camera was able to take better photos. Don't get me wrong, it will take great photos in the right circumstances, but you have such a narrow opportunity to do so. The lighting has to be perfect, the focus has a mind of its own, and dual flash causes a glare in the middle of the photo at times. The front camera, while pretty decent for what it is, really lags in low light. This may be calibration or software issue, but still an issue. Pros: High quality materials, excellent display, fast and fluid stock Android, quick updates, great looks. Cons: Awful camera, a little too large to comfortably hold, no external storage option.

This phone is huge. I really can't grasp it. However, it's fast and runs near stock Android, so I'm a big fan. Especially for $1.

My second Motorla phone. They are sturdy and reliable. This one is just the right size. The pre-loaded software is actually useful. I've had it for about six weeks and it works great - not a single problem. Reception is at least as good as the wife's iPhone - maybe better. Much better than any other phone I've had. A co-worker has one and he loves his, too. This phone paired to vehicle which has the first generation Ford SYNC in it the first try. Other phones have had difficulty pairing.

I previously had a samsung so there was a learning curve to this phone. The functions are awesome. The "Siri" function works well. I have not used it too much but it has worked well when i have. The size is OK. a little bug for girl pockets but fits in the larger ones.

I love this phone, I wanted one that was just a good all around phone that did everything well and this one does it. Yes there are other phones it there that are better in certain aspects, camera, music, games etc. But this phone is a Jack of all trades, and the motion sensors and the moto features are great
