Good phone. Screen is big enough and I like to use it before going to sleep. watching youtube and stuffs, this screen is just the right size for me. also love the two speakers (which made me prefer to watch video in this phone rather than my iPad). it does have it shares of problems, but none of them are a big problem for me. one: it's quite hot when you use it to play games. it can reach more than 110F. Hopefully it won't broke the phone, but as long as it works fine I will give it 5*. two: battery is a bit faster to drain than other phone with the same capacity. even leaving it overnight will cause it to lose 10-15% battery. I use power banks and always bring my charger for this. three: this phone does not work well with glass screen protector. it seems that it has a small curve on the top and bottom end and it tends to cause bubbles on the glass screen protector. note that reviews said that it's purely cosmetic and the bubbles doesn't get worse overtime. I had to replace my screen protector under warranty and reattached it quite a few times before it finally fits perfectly (I used Skinomi, which is a good brand with free replacement under warranty). solution~ lots of patience or avoid glass screen protector with this.

This phone is great. I have always been a Nexus person but when I needed a phone fast and Nexus devices were not available I purchased this. I have been super happy and the front facing flash is the best! The phone is super snappy and works great. No complaints other than I wish it had a fingerprint sensor but its a fair trade off for the amazingly low price.

Coming from a Blu phone, this phone is fantastic! The front camera is awesome, internet is super fast, downloads apps with ease, and the vibration function helps me get through long nights.. it's very strong!! Turbocharger is super quick! Would definitely recommend.. best bang for your buck.. would buy again. It's unlocked and that's a plus!

Great phone, great display, good battery. I have had most flagship androids in the last 5 years. This phone is as good as any including S6. My one issue seems to be I have some WiFi speed issues not sure of the cause yet. Will update

Was really looking for the Nexus 5x, but actually glad I came across this device. Near stock, works great with Verizon, and expandable storage.

Its one of the cleanest and quickest phones I've ever used. Motorola really did a nice job on the phone. Call quality as you would expect is great, the camera is better than expected. The only short coming is the battery life. However the supplied quick charger juices the phone up super quick. And we can't forget about the screen. Qhd, looks fantastic.

Quality, fast, clean phone with no extra useless apps that you can't uninstall.

Upgraded from a Droid Maxx on 10/1. So far a great phone! OS is quick and smooth with Lollipop. Love the expandable storage. I installed a 64GB micro SD and it's more than enough storage for me. I also love the flexibility of going to any carrier I want. I'm with Verizon and my sim card installed very easily and I didn't need any help from my carrier. I highly recommend!

I replaced my samsung s2 with this phone. My wife just got the samsung s7 so I wanted to try something else. This phone works just as good as the s7. It is slightly slower but performs just as good and half the price of s7. Only thing I don't like is its size since it's harder to put in my pocket.

This phone is excellent .. You can't get better phone for $399 and with the next 6.0 update will be better

Great hardware, camera however I would not recommend the 16gb unit as it leaves very little space to store photos and be able to utilize the album etc. You can increase internal storage up to 128gb however you cannot set the microSD card as the default storage location for photos taken with the phone.

I've had the Motorola X Pure Edition for a month or so now. I also purchases 2 different protective cases, one being the Unicorn Beetle case by Supcase, which is a great case for those interested. The phone has great screen and resolution. The front facing speakers are the best I have heard to date. I also have a HTC One with front speakers, there is no comparison, the Moto is far superior. Comparing the phone to my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, the price for the S7 simply isn't worth it when comparing the two phones as daily drivers. There isn't much difference in the speed between the two, though the s7 is slightly faster. The screens are great on both, the s7 has better colors or maybe I should say more vibrant or saturated colors. The cameras...the moto has superior image quality in bright light conditions at higher resolution, but the s7 is the clear winner on speed and low light photos. I can say that if you're looking for a great phone at an affordable price and not having an IR blaster and finger print reader isn't you're a deal breaker, then this is the phone to get. I love it and find myself using it as much as do my Samsung S7 Edge. Hoope this review helps you decide.

I have long nails, don't really need internet away from home, so always had a basic phone. Current phone died on me and decided to give a smart phone a try. I didn't want to pay a lot for something I didn't know if I would really like or not, and this Moto had all the features I knew I wanted at a price that wouldn't break my bank. I am not into games. I am slowly learning apps, and have found a few that I like. As stated, I don't need internet, but will make use of some features that do use the web to work. I love that I can speak my texts instead of typing words out. At the time of this review, I deducted one star simply because of my lack of knowledge in quick access to some features. Flashlight is one good example. I do not know how to turn light on and off easily. Same with camera. Directions say you can shake phone, but it doesn't work for me. This is a good phone for those that do not want/need everything under the sun built into a cell phone. But, do need more than a basic phone can offer.
