I had the 1st version and loved it. Got Z Force 2 and it's even better. Smaller battery but it lasts longer. Still works great with my Moto Mods. Didn't come with a back cover but I just used the old one. No regrets with this phone.

Phone is absolutely amazing. Great camera, great OS clear and quick. Almost a year later and my phone nor battery have slowed down. Being a modular phone it really stands out from the rest of the Android phones.

I purchased this phone for my son as his first smartphone for college. He chose Motorola because his friends had Motorola. It’s exceptionally light weight-due to no mods being attached. Just has a protective case. It also has some nifty extras - like shake it fir s flashlight. The only negative I have is that it appears to be a bit glitchy at times. Other than that it’s a solid beginner android phone.

This is the best phone I've ever owned, I traded my LG4G for the force 2 and have found it to be everything and more than Motorola stated. I would recommend this phone to serious smart ohone users.

This phone does not cast without chrome cast, has huge bezels, small screen compared to overall size. Was a day over return policy and BB sent me to verizon who sent me to moto, no help in the bunch. Typical moto, build the phone they want, stick a bunch of hardware in it, but not the functions you want. On top if that screen scratches easily and the battery life is horrible. Camera isnt great, over saturated, speaker is below average for a cheap phone much less a flagship. Do not buy this phone.

After shopping endlessly for a new cell phone, my wife and I decided on the Moto Z2 Force because of all the features and the reputation of Motorola for quality and performance. Also being shatter proof and the ability to add Moto Mods help too. So far these are the BEST phones we have ever had!!!

Good follow up to the original force phone - a little more compact and fast

Was not looking to buy this phone at the time, but there was a great deal going on at the time. Phone is extremely fast. I suggest getting case and screen protector. The phone is slick when trying to pick up off counter and was getting some minor scratches on face. The thing I dislike the most is the camera lens sticks out on back, so this is what the phone rest on. A case solves that.

I had a droid turbo and got this phone it awesome super fast pictures are amazing sound is great I also bought the speaker mod .

This is a great phone. I was an avid HTC user but sadly they've been taken out of the market and I got this particular phone thru an insurance claim and I love it. I love the functionality and the fastness of it. Battery is typically to every phone but the added features with the MOTO Mods and MOTO shortcuts are awesome! I've become a believer in Motorola.

I read some 3rd party reviews and was a bit concerned I wouldn't like this phone, but I'm glad to took a leap of faith with Motorola. First off, so many people complained about the battery being smaller than in the original Force. I have not had any issues. In fact, this 30% battery is smaller than the 3900 mAH one in my Droid Turbo 2, but the phone lasts longer. It also charges incredibly quickly, so I haven't had a capacity issue, even after a month of heavy use. The components, especially the Snapdragon 835 CPU, are clearly much more efficient than those in prior generations phones. I don't know why people only look at battery capacity - if your car is lighter, a V6 (or even a turbo 4) will get you moving just as fast as a V8 did in your old heavy car, with less fuel! As for efficiency, you really notice how much cooler the Z2 Force stays when running apps like Waze, which hit data, GPS, and screen pretty hard. My Turbo 2 would still drain the battery even if plugged into a car charger when running Waze. This phone, using the SAME (QC 2.0) charger, actually charges the battery when using Waze. That's just one example, and I have no affiliation with Waze, but I figure it's a familiar app with well-known battery consumption levels. The phone is also quite snappy. I think the 4G LTE is somehow faster than with my Turbo 2. Downloads, like podcasts and Netflix, seem to fly. And moving between apps is really fast. The Moto mods are pretty cool. I have the free projector and it's amazing that such a big picture comes out of a small device. I'll try the battery pack next. I don't think the mods alone are (yet) worth buying the phone, but they are a nice incentive in addition to everything else. And who knows what people with come up with for future mods? This phone is so slim, even with a case it's thinner than most phones. I actually got an inexpensive rubber bumper case that adds very little to the phone, but gives it a nice feel and makes it less slippery. It also gives me a place to stick my credit card holder. Note - If you plan to use the Moto Mods, make sure you get a case that is easy to slip off and on. It would be nice if there was a case that went around the edges, but let you snap mods on and off. For me, the biggest reason to buy this phone over others with similar specs is the shatterproof screen. I have read a lot of negative reviews that take issue with how easy the screen is to scratch, but that is par for the course with these screens (the Turbo 2 had same issue.) The fix is to buy a $10 screen protector that saves the screen from the keys in your pocket. That's what you'd probably buy for other phones too, but if you should drop this phone, the screen won't shatter. You can't say that for other phones. Perhaps the one thing where there could be a bit of improvement is the camera, but I really haven't played enough with all the features to know how good or bad it is. It does seem to have issues with backlighting, but there may be a Pro setting that fixes that. (I can say that the black and white camera is very cool.) What I really love is the Moto gesture (which has been around for a few Droid generations) to turn on the camera with a wrist flick. I don't miss many impromptu shots, and the picture seems fine for a phone. (If you want DSLR quality, why are you using a phone?) Overall, I recommend this, because it's well built, fast, has great battery life (in spite of a smaller battery), and the screen won't break. Mods add to the value, though they are not the deal breaker.

This is my 3rd Motorola phone...I had my old Droid 2 for 3 years and it was still working well...Just decided to upgrade to the new Moto Z2 Force and I'm loving it...The battery life is crazy good and the screen colors are great!...I'd advise you to do like I did and add the Zagg plus screen cover...The glass might be shatter resistant, but I've heard it scratches easy.......

My husband loved this phone. He is an IT manager and utilizes almost all of the features on this phone. His phone reception has more than doubled!

Overall love the phone. Excellent sound and picture quality. Charges fast and last all day. Love the attachments; projector and speakers.
