I love this phone. I upgraded from the Moto Z force.

The screen is hit and missed. The last one I own was awesome. I've dropped so many times and it okay. With this one. It cracked on the first dropped.

The problem that I have is that charging port or circuitry seems to be bad. The device will not charge fast or even at a normal speed. It will only slow charge. I talked with version and was told to return it to the store because it's within the 14-day return period. I will re-post a review once I have a new WORKING device.

I manage a car wash. Certain areas are loud. This phone has an ascending ring (which you can't turn off). The ring starts very low, then gradually gets louder. I missed several calls, because I didn't hear the ring. I only kept it 2 days.

I spent a few months researching and comparing and this is my first Motorola, I've had nothing but samsung till now. half the price and compared to some other phones more speed and ease of use. its still an android, so very user friendly. I'm very happy with my phone, its thin and sleek, little longer and very quick, charges super fast. my hubby is going to need a new phone soon and he's eye balling mine with envy, I'll think he'll be switching from samsung too. do the comparison, this phone is just as good as the pricey phones if not better in some areas.

moto z3 is not heavy but light weight. keyboard is easy to use and type with. camera is awesome! Motorola nailed the camera on this phone. Camera is as better as Galaxy or even better than Galaxy s9. S9 is the other device I have.

Using Z3 is an average phone. However from a previous Moto Z owner, I am very worried about this phone's battery. I have my Moto Z only about 14 month with light to average use, the battery dead (loss charge in few seconds after unplug from charging) MOTOROLA will not do anything since it is out of warranty. There ARE thousands and thousands of users are experiencing same issue. And yet, Motorola refuses to do anything. Motorola's batteries and customer support are horrible. Stay away if you want a phone that can at least last 2 years

Let me start off by saying I never had a problem with any phone I have owned in the last twenty years. The majority have been Motorolas (Razr) and recently Samsungs (Galaxy am Notes). No issues. Always bought the insurance and never used it. I have owned this Moto Z3 for less than 48 hours and the back already has cracked, running from the camera down to the bottom port where the Moto attachments connect. The crazy part is, I have no idea how it happened. Not sure if it was bumped or something landed on it, but I have never seen a phone break that easy. I am sure I will have to pay some ridiculous deductible on the insurance to have a $10 piece of cheap glass replaced. If that is the case, I will just wrap the device in a rugged/durable case and forget about the crack for now. At least until I make the first payment... At this time, I do not recommend the Moto Z3 as a viable option, especially if the phone is that susceptible to damage. I might as well have bought an apple product if I knew the glass was that cheap!

My moto z started coming apart after one year and when I contacted Motorola they stated that even though the phone was still under warranty they were going to charge me right at $175 and a $400 refundable deposit to replace it. The phone was junk and Motorola won't stand behind their products. Don't waste your money on a Motorola product!
