This phone is OK the keyboard picture audio and hard drive space are very good. The downside is like a lot of phones out there the battery doesn't last all day the phone will keep asking you if you want wifi even tho you go into the settings and turn it off STUPID!!!!!! and to top it off it constantly drops my 3g and says no internet connection.

I have had this phone for almost 2 months now and have been very pleased with it. Once I downloaded Juice Defender my battery lasts for the whole day even with texting and surfing the web. It takes really great pictures. If you have problems with telemarketers calling download Call Control and you can block these numbers. The 4G doesn't always work even in Houston but that is an issue with Sprint, I will be glad when the Japanese investor buys into Sprint so they can get some cash flow to really update their system!!! Other than that love the phone. Thinking about getting one for my wife.

With the new on screen button setup it makes the screen too small, I came from the old Photon which has about the same screen size but with the buttons underneath it gives you more useable area than the Q. I find it much harder to read text on web pages ect.. than the old Photon. What I don't get is if you compare the 2 phones side by side the front is about identical with plenty of room under the display for the buttons to sit below the screen. The smaller useable area of the display makes it feel like a downgrade from the original Photon. I 've purchased many smart phones over the last 10 years and I think this is the first one I am going to return. O, and the camera is a huge disappointment compared to my wife's EVO LTE.

This is my first smart phone and the first time I have worked with a touch screen. Less intimidating than I thought it would be, but I still make plenty of mistakes. I am still trying to figure out all the bells and whistles and miss some of the features of my old dinosaur phone. All in all I am pleased...so far.

I love the phone. I've used in some 4G networks and am just waiting for sprint to finish the upgrading all over. It takes great pics and video, and i can't wait for Motorola to release Jelly Bean for it.

I loved this phone for the first 6 months. The slide out keyboard is awesome. After 6 months my battery will only last about 7 hours in phone idle standby mode. After charging the phone and letting it sit without a single phone call, text, web search or any use of any kind the battery is exhausted after 7 hours. The phone indicates that phone idle is using 80% of the battery resource in that time. To make things worse the battery is not user replaceble. As a side note the photos from the phone are complete trash.

The battery life sucks. I loved the photon, but the Q lacks. Only plus is the qwerty. Very disapointed, the photon and galaxy SII are much better phones.

Cannot make a call in the cold

I bought the Photon Q to replace my Blackberry 9650 because it has a keyboard and wound up exchanging it for a Blackberry 9930. The biggest flaw is because of the slide out keyboard the screen is separated from the bottom half of the phone that has the keyboard and the battery. This allows the touch screen to get cold faster than other phones and it was jumping around and would not let me make a call with it. I went back to the Blackberry because you can dial it with the keyboard and their trackpads and touchscreens are reliable.
