I got this phone as a birthday present for myself, and I've been loving it ever since! The battery life is so good for a flip phone that I haven't had to worry about charging it throughout the day, and the external screen makes using the phone a breeze when it's closed. Not to mention the nice, smooth, 165hz displays on both the inside and outside. The camera also takes incredibly good photos for the hardware it's packing, although the processing could use some work. But that's not something I've been worried about since I've started using it. My only complaint with it is the durability concerns, but that's to be expected with any flip or fold style phones. All in all, I highly recommend the Razr Ultra over any currently available flip style phones!

fast processing, light and easy to handle once you get used to the flipping and closed phone front screen. Front screen gets blocked by cameras when browsing web or using apps, but you can flip it upside down.

This phone is quite expensive for what it is. A folding screen is incredible technology, and that feeling is nostalgic yet futuristic at the same time. If you want to experience the magic of the early days of smartphones, you will get that feeling here. Quickly, however, that magic fades, and it becomes more of a nuisance than anything. There really is no significant benefit to having a flipping phone, the aspect ratios don't improve your viewing experience, and you have to be incredibly mindful of damage to the softer screen and delicate hinge. On a folding phone, it's worth dealing with those gripes - on this particular flip phone, it never feels worth it. If you're into technology, it's a great collectors item. If you're looking for a main phone, this one is novelty that comes at a steep price. I'd recommend going for a lower-end model Razr, or a flagship Samsung at this price point. At the end of the day, if your mind is set here, the phone itself is solid, can be fun, and eye-catching in public.

My past 5 phones have exclusively been Google phones- they've been clean, wonderful performance - so color me surprised when I saw this thing and it blew my expectations out of the water. - The interface was familiar and easy to use - Doesn't feel bloated with software that i need to clean up - Took minutes to set up and get going. - Really SOLID construction- absolutely feels worth the money, and performance-wise -worth every penny. Honestly, the engineers and software designers who worked on this phone really thought out of the box to deliver a premium, easy-to-use, and genuinely intuitive phone. no more fiddling with my phone for the flashlight- just shake the phone! Easily fits in my pocket- what a godsend this is- I got tired of carrying a brick in my pocket along with my wallet and keys. There are SO many cleverly designed features, and it really shows when you get your hands on it.

The Moto Razr Ultra is a fine phone. Not amazing, not bad. Just fine. The first unit I bought head a whole bunch of dead pixels near the left side of the hinge, not exactly instilling confidence in the product on the whole. Moto thankfully only lightly skins Android, and we have a mostly stock experience here. The apps leave a little to be desired in some cases. Moto AI is awful right now, a hodge-podge of several different AI platforms that is designed to give you the best of each, but winds up a cluttered mess. You're best to just ignore the (non-remappable) AI button and use a single AI like Gemini. The outside screen is fun, and i like that Moto made some thoughtful additions like the little minigames and the fact that you can basically use any app. Some fun folding/outside screen possibilities that will likely end up going nowhere due to lack of dev support. Unfortunately once the novelty wears off we're left with a phone that for all intents and purposes is just okay. That and the display on the inside, like all other folding displays, is more fragile than thin sugar glass. So you will likely be constantly worried about touching it too much (especially if someone else grabs it, like a friend who wants to play around with it). Avoid this phone at all costs if you have longer fingernails too. You're essentially guaranteed to scratch the [out of the box screen-protected-] display. The positives just manage to outweigh the negatives, and if you're up for living on the bleeding edge then you might enjoy this product. I returned it due to the high price and constant fear that i would scratch or mess up the internal display, and also because the dead pixels on the first unit didnt instill confidence in the overall build quality.

As a only Android user, I've come back to my first love! Yes, my first cell phone was the original Motorola Razor 3g back in 2004! As far as this new line of new generation Razrs, I purposely waited till they got it right. And boy, did they! All the features, the screen on the outside and the versatility with super fast performance! Can't go wrong with this new Motorola masterpiece! Now, a new generation can enjoy the Razr!

Honestly, such an understated phone. Chose it over the Galaxy Flip 7 despite having used Samsung devices for nearly a decade, and I cannot stress how great it is. Phenomenal battery life, great UI. The camera is definitely lacking, and I know I only get 3 years of software updates (seriously Motorola, you can do better). One day ill probably go back to Samsung because of their ecosystem but for now, this is clearly the best clamshell flip phone on the market and will continue to be for the time being.

Phone arrived in pristine condition in original box with all contents including screen peels although those were already removed. The battery itself was at 87% charge with 2 charge cycles. Most likely a display unit and it was ordered online.

I've been using Samsung Galaxy Ultra cell phones for years, so I'm used to Samsung features. I switched to the Motorola because I wanted a flip-phone and the Motorola was about half the cost of the Samsung flip phone. There are some features that I like but mostly I don't care for the Motorola. For one thing, the battery life is very short. Also, there's lots of features and capabilities that appear to be included by software developers just because they are "neat or cool." One of the most annoying features is that the home pages light up when the cell is set aside, like on a table or counter, or just not being used. It's really annoying. I've searched but have found no way to toggle them off. Mostly the Motorola is really annoying, and I regret making the switch from Samsung.

Let's start with the easy stuff. The Camera, build quality, and overall performance are top notch. Charging speed is like a dream. When it comes to hardware it blows the Samsung equivalents out of the water. But that's just hardware. The software leaves a lot to be desired. Primarily that my Razr would crash every night without fail while I was sleeping. Thus my alarm would never go off and I would be unable to receive any notifications until I unlocked the phone in the morning. For some people this is a minor issue but for me it was quite major. I'm also not a fan of the lack of a built in gallery as Google photos is not for me.
