Money was not a factor in choosing my next phone, however battery life was. This is why I chose the Moto Z Play over the Moto Z, Galaxy S7 or any other high end phone. The specs on this phone are by no means low end, but the combination of the snapdragon 625, 3GB ram, and 350mhz battery make it far and away the longest lasting battery available as of today....On any phone. I'd be curious if the forthcoming Asus Zenfone Zoom 3 could compete, but as of yet is not released, and also does not have NFC. Android pay is a must have app for me. Also, this doesn't feel like a mid spec phone at all. For everything I do, it feels as high-end as they come. I suppose if you're into some of the more demanding games, you may notice a difference.....But none here. Very happy with this choice, and worrying about battery life is a thing of the past for me.

I've had Moto phones for three years now. I love their simplicity and stock Android. Active display and hand gesture is a plus. This phone has an amazing battery. Just spent a day in Disney with heavy use and battery is still over 50% at the end of the day. Get Tumi powerpack and you will charge this phone once every three days. That's pretty amazing longetivity.

This is so far my favorite phone ever, battery for two days. I dont play games and use my phone for apps and internet and phone calls. Does every thing I need well and still has juice to go. Pictures are good enough for me as I dont take pics too often but they come out good when I do. I'm thinking of buying a second just in case

Nice speed processor, good camera, good screen size. The only problem is that the fingerprint reader quit working after being dropped in water briefly, which is frustrating when it was supposed to be more waterproof than that.

The phone is great. Battery lasts 2 days with heavy use. My only issue is with Geek Squad refurbishment. I understand the charger can be third party but they gave me a charger that takes USB type C (so I'd need a type C to type C cable) but they gave me a standard USB to USB type c cable. So I couldn't even charge the phone and had to buy my own cable.

Great phone with lots of potentials. It is very light and has many mod modules you can choose from. The battery and camera mod are especially interesting.

The first smart phone I bought was a Motorola, and continued to use the Motorola droid for years. When I switched to T-mobile, I switched to the Samsung Galaxy thinking it would be comparable. The Samsung Galaxy 6 - the newest model at the time was total garbage. The battery life lasted me less than a day, and would die (even on ultimate power saver mode). The Galaxy is designed to be all bells and whistles which out the basic functions. What's the point of a smart phone if you can't use it? Switching back to a Motorola has been a godsend. This phone has a battery life of two days! I can always call an uber, take a picture, or use google maps to drive! The refurbished model works without any issues. I'm happy to be back in the Motorola family.

Bought this phone as a gift for a family member. Definitely an improvement over the LG G2 it replaced. All of the little software tweaks by Motorola have proved to be quite useful (twist for camera, chop for flashlight). Battery life is pretty incredible and long lasting. I will say the camera is mediocre. It takes good pictures but not great, so be aware of its limitations. This being a refurbished unit was a little off-putting however phone arrived in pristine condition and has functioned flawlessly since!

Essentially all phones do exactly the same thing nowadays. Which includes sucky battery life. This phone is fantastic. Easy 6hrs plus of on Screen time. Ive had the phone last me over 36 hrs on 3 separate occasions within the first 2 weeks. It charges crazy fast with the turbo charger too. Its so satisfying knowing I can go for a drink or dinner right after work with out having to charge the phone during the day. This is a game changer.

If you are looking for a phone that's fast, future proof, and lasts 2 days, look no further. The Moto Z Play is the real deal

I have nothing bad to say about this phone. Iook brand new when I received it and quick. So far I'm loving it.

I love the fact that the Moto doesn't come with a lot of bloatware, but has a good camera. This is probably one of the best budget phones available right now. However, my fingerprint reader quit working in the first week and this is a known issue. Geek Squad warranty was completely unhelpful, so looks like I'll be living without this feature, which was one of the reasons I bought the phone.

Good powerful phone with long battery life. Great screen size and perfect display.

Like new refurbished Moto Z phone, can be used for any GMS network. A little bit heavier compare to Samsung S7. One thing I do not understand is why the charger is from Huawei for this refurbished phone. Well design software.

Its a great phone. It has a lot of cool features. Really easy to get started. Awesome features.
