    Good reach, fair clarity. The only problem is short battery life when the device is (on) seems to use a lot of power even when not in actual use. Being a shut in w/only a land line, I got this set to communicate w/neighbor during power outrages. As a matter of safety I will need some form of back up power if we have a long outage as we seem to of late..
