Good Nicole Kidman musical and I am musical fan. It's a good add on to the collection

Love this movie, only musical I ever got into. Used some of the songs to serenade my better half.

Great to have Moulin Rouge on Blu-ray - great addition to your collection if you want more musicals on Blu-ray.

The movie is excellent. I purchased this because I enjoyed it in the theater. It was great seeing it in Blu-Ray, but I lowered it by one star because I would have preferred to own a copy in 4K, there is so much detail in the movie that this would be a great one to see the fine details.

beautiful color , wonderful entertaining show. It was sooo good, I watched it 2X and then I gave it to a friend who enjoyed it as much as I did.

Moulin Rouge is one of my favorite musicals. It’s fresh and inventive while having some of the best and catchy music numbers!

This is a Christmas gift so I don't know yet if there's any problems with the movie

My wife enjoys this movie and got it for christmas.

I did not know anything about this movie going into it so it started out seeming weird. But then I began to get it. It's a lot of seemingly random popular songs we've all heard stitched together to tell the story of a love triangle involving a poor man, a courtesan (very high end call girl), and a rich count. What will win -- love or money? It's a cliff hanger. Its tragic theme will remind you of operas such as La Traviata and La Boheme. I'd watch it again.

I have loved this movie since it was first released and had bought the DVD when it first came out. Getting it on Blu Ray was a huge upgrade in terms of picture quality. After spending a load of time in Paris over the past few years and seeing the actual Moulin Rouge this film always will have a special place in my heart.

My first experience with this movie, I was a bit concerned. Using modern songs to paint a picture of Paris in 1800 was something that I thought would fail. The movie works because of the cinematography and how it makes the world surreal. I was also impressed by Ewan McGregor's and Nicole Kidman's singing ability. Not only are they both excellent actors, they have beautiful voices.

This was the first time we found out Nicole Kidman could sing and it got her nominated for an Oscar. She and Ewan McGregor were cinema gold in this musical. The film made such an impact it's been recently made into a Broadway musical. Awesome to have in my collection.

I'm normally an action movie guy and I try to steer clear of "chick-flicks". However, I watched this with my wife one night and bought the blu-ray the next day. The visuals are amazing, the music entertaining, and the story draws you in and leaves you emotional at the end. The blu-ray picture and sound are top notch, and there's plenty of special features to keep you busy for hours.

This is the kind of movie that Baz Luhrmann (Australia, The Great Gatsby) was born to do. It's a breathtakingly beautiful piece of work; so much so that you can easily forgive some of the weaker points in the story and acting (Nicole Kidman's performance being possibly the weakest link). It's also an interesting transitional film for Luhrmann, bridging the gap between his earlier works such as Strictly Ballroom and more recently, The Great Gatsby. Well worth a look.

If you like musicals, you will really enjoy this movie.

I first watched this on a date. It's a perfect date movie. It's not too sappy, but still has a story that encourages some cuddling. I really enjoyed the music too, buying the soundtrack as well. I was surprised that the actors sang as well as they did. It's interesting the way they covered the familiar songs in a new way.

Saw this when I walked into Best Buy the other day and had to own it. It's such a beautiful told love story, of course heart breaking but moving. The music is just sweeping and moving. Recommended to everyone else and anyone willing to watch, fall in love, and cry. 5 out of 5! The BEST MUSICAL I'VE EVER SEEN!
