I recall seeing this movie as a young kid and thought it to be hilarious. When I built my own house, and went through the trials and tribulations of that event, it reminded me of the movie. Any old movie with Cary Grant is automatically a good movie, at least in my mind. This movie is no exception. I originally had a DVD of this movie I bought at a library fund raiser but that copy had original factory flaws (visible flaws) that made it unwatchable. Now I have a good copy!

Cary Grant and Myrna Loy are priceless together. Both have the ability to deliver a line, and a look, with great comedic timing. The story is fun too, the original Money Pit movie, but with a very happy ending.

The movie is great and very funny, we love old movies and sometime they are hard to find. It is a good movie to watch after you have remodeled your house. Made washing dishes in a bucket not so bad.

We have this movie on VHS and wanted a DVD copy. One of our favorite movies. Cary Grant and Myrna Loy are perfect together.

A Cary Grant classic that my wife loves. Reminds me of a more tame/G version of the Money Pit.

Great old movie love this film very enjoyable to watch

If money is preventing you from moving out of that cramped apartment, fear not! They hae a great deal for you on a nice big house. The problem is it is falling to pieces! In this great flick Cary gets the deal of a lifetime on some property. But he must go through major renovations before he and his family can move in. With everythng from plumbing problems to bathrooms that lock you in, this movie will keep you in stictches! Unlike many of today's comedies you can watch this with chidren of all ages.

This classic film can be enjoyed by the whole family. It deals with life's situations in a real way, but with integrity and class, unlike many movies of today. And of course Cary Grant is outstanding in the lead role as is the entire supporting cast. Just listening to the dialogue and background music takes you back to a better time for film making. Very nice film!
