    Mr. Church is based on true events. It is the heartwarming story of a relationship built on duty that turned into caring. Eddie Murphy is perfect in the title role of the rigid, warm, and enigmatic Mr. Church. I watched this on VUDU, and will wait to purchase from Best Buy when the 4k HDR version is released. I only purchase dvds in UHD (4k HDR) or 3D. Would have given it 5 stars except for the missing format. If that does not matter to you, this is a definite 5 star disc.

    Not your classic Oscar contender but Eddie does a good job in this heart warming coming of age film. My only draw back was they did not give Eddie Murphy character a defining background that they gave the other characters, IMO. All in all, I really enjoyed it.
