Good, reliable coffee maker.

Has auto shut-off after 2 hours. Maintains steady temps during the 2 hours and does not "overcook" the coffee. We were not paid to say this...it is a good, reliable product.

Fast brew and the right temp

I usually make 6 cups at a time rather than 12. I drink coffee throughout the day and the auto shut off is exacly what I needed. Also, the temperature is perfect. Some coffee makers do not make the water hot enough for that perfect taste. This one does.

Back to Basics

We prefer a basic honest cup of coffee from freshly ground beans. This fits the bill perfectly. Has a choice of strong or regular and can be set to start at a set time in the morning. After it is done brewing, it keeps the pot warm for two hours and shuts itself off. We are traditionalists and don’t want a coffee maker that does anything more.

What I want from a standard coffee pot

I enjoy making a full pot because I've been able to rely on the stay warm function pretty well. Of course I would love an insulated carafe but for the money I've saved on this it's paid itself off.
