Good deal, nice small coffee maker, very quiet and adequate for two or three persons. Excellent price. If you brew your own coffee, you can't go wrong with this coffee maker.

The machine’s lid is hinged on the left, so it opens to the right. For lefties this might be annoyingly awkward. Under the lid there’s an arm on a pivot to direct the hot water onto the grounds. You swing it out of the way to place a filter and grounds. It can manually swing it back into place, or closing the lid correctly repositions the arm ‘automatically’. However, my paper filters are a bit tall (I guess) and the arm catches the paper’s edge and pushes it in. Maybe not enough for the brewing grounds to spill over and into the basket (and into the brewed coffee). Being more than a little fussy I manually position the arm and straighten the paper. With this little ritual I get a consistently fine cup of coffee.

This is a very nice little basic coffee maker, as long as you don’t need a lot of coffee this works great for a very reasonable price.

It is really nice and small coffee maker and very good for single person like me. Although it does make upto 5 cup of coffee in one go, which is enough for single person or atleast good for two people to start their morning. Also I liked the brew later option which is still missing from some high end coffee makers. Got it for $17 bucks on Black Friday. Pretty good for its price.

I will try to keep this short. Still trying to master this coffeemaker. 1. The basket is noticeably narrower than in our last two Mr. Coffee machines, so the filters crumple a bit when inserting them. 2. It seems to be easy to inadvertently bump the ON button and shut the machine off during the brewing cycle - or between cups. 3. Most annoying is that when you open the machine cover, all of the condensation collected on the inside of the machine cover runs down outside of the basket, down the outside of the carafe, and around the hotplate. It has taken a couple times to learn to lay a towel over the hotplate to catch the water before opening the machine lid.

The Mr. Coffee 25 oz. Mini Brew programmable coffee is a nice little coffee maker for small households and could make a good brew for one or two people. This is a basic coffee maker that has a clock and a timer so that you could have your brew at a set time. It does not have a reusable brew basket included and it uses 4 cup paper filters. There is not much more to say aside from the fact that makes good coffee. And Mr. Coffee practically invented and popularized the automatic drip coffeemaker way back in the seventies. That alone says everything. And be assured you are getting a quality coffee maker at a reasonable price.

This product solves a dilemma presented to many coffee drinkers who want their morning coffee, but not in the larger volumes of many coffeemakers. I can attest that this little wonder will give the full Mr. Coffee flavor, but take up little space on the counter. And it has has a digital clock which allows pre-programming of a brew time. You can either pour the coffee through and press a button to brew it immediately, or set it to brew the coffee at the time you select. It's just like every Mr. Coffee you may have had, but smaller. If found the product to be convenient and very useful.

a really nice mini coffee maker. Works just like a normal size coffee maker. It is programmable and has an auto shutoff option. Not much you can say about this except it does what its meant to do and does it well in just a mini version.

The 5-cup Mr. Coffee Brewer is just what I need for my office or smaller counter-top. I had a 4-cup unit for years, but broke the carafe. This is so inexpensive, I get the whole machine for almost the cost of the carafe alone!. Its a good small brewer. Nothing real fancy. Has a AM and PM LCD clock which allows you to set a brew time for that required morning to go cup. The filter basket comes with a must have shut off when you remove the pot to pour that first, fresh brewed cup. Because who wants to wait five minutes for the pot to finish brewing? The clock and auto brew timer is simple to set. Intuitive and easy, just what I like. Your choice of BREW NOW or TIMER. A tad tricky to get the filter cup in and out as the little arm needs to be swiveled out of the way first. And the spring tension on the shut off - first cup shut off is easier to work with when the pot is not on the warmer circle. Already loving its compact size and price.

Operational Using it all up Test of the Mr. Coffee - 5-Cup Coffeemaker - Black Model:2109188 SKU:6411376 Drink hardee me pirates. Summary report: Product meets or exceeds described functions. Value mid-size coffee pot with timer. Detailed results: Went out and bought 400 filters at Target. Ran a pot of watrer through the pot to clean it. Put one large scoop of coffee in the 4-6 cup filter. Filter did not overflow with normal grounds. You may want to do smaller batches with Turkish grind or just pause it half way through the brew so the filter will empty. Filled up one dark side Black First Order very large cup 1.6 times. The maker did not come with a screen so you will need a stash of filters. Nice thing about paper filters is you lift them out to the trash. Made a small mornings coffee for me as I usually drink 6 cups. But the nice part it is always fresh. Cord length was sufficient for my use. See pictures! Cords same length as the full size coffee maker. Coffee maker was about 1/3 the size of a very large coffee maker. Was able to snag a cup during brewing with the basket only having a minor drip. Coffee strength was perfect. The brew button also turns off the pot and the brewing coil did shut down when the water tank was empty. The warming disk remained on as it should until automatic safety shutdown. Plan to take this to the Disney Contemporary Resort for a robusto workout! Remember a coffee pot needs to always auto shut down as this is a serious safety issue that has federal requirements (this one meets or exceeds those requirements). I have seen coffee pots do the China syndrome at work when they were plugged in and left on all night. If it shuts off in less than two hours you can always hit the on button again. Safer is better. I always turn mine off and unplug after brewing and use the microwave for additional warming. Test equipment: Two caffeine addicts, filters, coffee, Dark side large cup, and lots of coffee grounds. I decided to put in the garage where I spend my free time to work at home. Size of this coffee maker is optimal and heats coffee well, Programable, auto shut off when finishing brewing. Easy to clean, and has digital clock. No issues so far. I love it! Note: it does come with paper filters so you consider buying them.

In many ways this is a nicely designed coffeemaker. It is programmable, you can pour a cup of coffee during the brewing process, it's a nice compact size, parts are removable and dishwasher safe, and more. It also brews a good cup of coffee. The weakest part of the coffeemaker is the manual supplied with it. It doesn't provide adequate details on its proper operation. In the paper supplied with the coffeemaker, they provide a scan QR code to obtain operating instructions,. Unfortunately, it just duplicates the paper supplied with the coffeemaker. I will have to call customer service to hopefully obtain the answers to my operating questions. This is the only reason I gave it four stars rather than five.

I am not a coffee snot so any cup is good to me. This is a mini coffee maker which is nice if you are not a quantitative drinker. Set up is easy. Easy to program. Easy to wash, easy to clean. Uses small footprint for counter top. Highly recommended for dorms assuming we can have college classes again after this COVID-19 issue. I would highly recommend this product. Great job Mr Coffee.
