A Disappointment

The small piece that stops the process so you can get a quick cup broke off. Filter wears out in quickly with repeated rinses. Water reservoir is awkward to load. Too many parts to the basket Significant amount of oily resdue on the basket lid parts after brewing. Carafe must be carefully aligned with the machine. Small amount of water or coffee pools under right side of machine.

Around 12/2019, every 4th pot I made was water. I bought a new coffee maker in 12/2019. After 3 months it started doing the same thing. I was using the same exact grounds, the same amount, nothing different. I contacted Mr. Coffee. They sent me a new coffee maker. That worked about 2 weeks before I started having the same problem. I tried making the grounds finer - no luck. Well, I am done now. No more Mr. Coffee. I am now waiting on my Cuisinart coffee maker.
