Fun experiment for my 13 yr old to do alone - though root beer tasted flat and nobody drabk it so we poured it down the sink!

For the price, it was a fun experiment with the kids. However, and I didn't look before throwing the box away, it did not mention that it needed brown sugar and regular sugar to be added. So heads up, make sure you have this before making. Also, it is pretty much a one time use kit, so my recommendation is save your money and just buy some already made Root Beer.

Was easy to prepare and easy to brew. But turned out a little yeasty.

I bought this kit as a gift and I'm disappointed in the contents. He hasn't made the root beer but the whole thing looks a little cheap, which it wasn't for only 4 bottles of root beer.

It is a cool idea, but the taste was just okay. If you really love Root Beer and would like to try making it, then go ahead - otherwise, just buy a brand you love.

This was more for the experience than the taste of the result. It was fun to make with my kids but tasted like cheap, flat root beer when it was finished.

Bought this to replace our old kit that had some damaged/worn out parts. Great project to make something a little different!

I bought this for my mom for Christmas and she loved it!

I wanted to see what it was like to make my own Soda and decided to try this kit and see if it was actually any good, and all i can say is that i am VERY pleased with the outcome of the soda that was made using this kit. i am glad that it turned out so well and i will probably buy the refill kits to make some more

I gave this gift to older children! It was a hit! I was a little leery to purchase but very glad I did!!

All of the parts were there it was just poorly packaged.

Easy to make and tastes great.my kids also enjoyed it.

Picked it up on a special. It was meant to be an easy and fun project. It was a little more complicated than anticipated (for the recipient), but overall not bad. Probably would do things different on this one, but your mileage may vary.

We had lots of fun making this rootbeer. It tasted great too.

So I got this for my wife to make.....she didn't follow directions and we ended up with a 5-8% hard root beer....was still pretty good.

Pass on this product. Purchase this to have some fun did not work well route beer tasted terrible

for me everytime just bought root beer from walmart it was easy but this time it was fun with my friends and worth it

My daughter loves root beer. This was a no brainer and so far she loves the idea of making it on her own.
