Each female in my family takes one to work. We each love our bento lunch bags. Would love if it came also with chopsticks. And more color selections. Good portion control if your on a diet. I imagine it sized this way due to it being a Japanese brand. Japanese eat smaller portions compare to westerners. This bag is great encouragement not to overeat. There are Mr Bento lunch bags on their website.
