I am so happy with this Laptop. The screen is gorgeous, the graphics are amazing, and I love the design and weight of it. Its nice to have a gaming laptop that looks like a professional device rather then a giant toy with the glowing face of an extra terrestrial on the back of it. I currently play Guild Wars 2 and this laptop can easily hand the ultra setting and i'm still getting 100 fps. I love it.

The laptop was very speedy and light weight. This laptop really is worth the price

I am new to laptop gaming, and I LOVE this one. The Dragon Center takes some time to get used to, and there are some things that aren't entirely user friendly, but it's a fantastic piece of machinery. In addition, it's unfortunate that this particular laptop is very difficult to upgrade. But again, given its design, cooling system, and overall performance, you won't regret getting this laptop.

This is my very first purchase of a gaming laptop. I have been on the look for a thin gaming laptop for a while now, and this laptop fits my needs perfectly. When trying to find a good laptop, I go after the performance and looks of the laptop. The graphics are amazing, and awesome quality. I can play games with no lag. So happy that I made a really good decision buying the Stealth Thin GS65.

I purchased this laptop so that I could play shooters and sim games like Gears of War and Sim CIty and it has not disappointed. The images never stutter even at MAX settings. The screen is bright and clear. It runs quietly (some noise when under heavy load from a graphically intense game) but not an issue when using headphones. Highly recommend for the power in such a light weight laptop.

This laptop is great for the Gamer on the go, It is light weight and very powerful. It can handle every game you throw at it. the only negative is the small keyboard. but overall great.

Coming from Mac, this was my first PC laptop purchase in a long time. Overall this laptop has worked well. It has crashed on me more than a few times... I think due to overheating. That could totally be a user error but I never had that issue with other laptops I've owned. Also, the build quality is not that great for the price you pay. I understand that some of this is the reason its so lightweight... but the lid, in particular, is super flimsy and delicate for a laptop meant to be carried around. Other than that its been a workhouse and is still working as a main driver today.

Premium look and feel with subtle gold highlights and thin bezels making it look like a smaller laptop. Love the FN - F6 keys that disables the webcam on a hardware level. There's no Num Pad even if it's a 15in laptop but it's not a deal breaker. I've had my eye on this laptop for a while. Definitely NOT cheap but your getting a lot for your money. Performance is excellent and smooth.

I had a big list of things about this laptop but let me just say this, if you are considering this laptop... It's worth it! I am a content creator and I use this machine to create 4K instructional videos. This hardware eats through my 4K work load! The only things I would recommend is getting the thermal paste replaced and turn off Killer Networks Advanced Stream Detection.

Bought this as a gift for my daughter who loves playing video games and it's been performing perfectly on every game she owns. Her games have been running flawlessly, she's got no issues with modded Minecraft and the frame rate has been very stable. Other games like House Flipper and Roblox have also been running perfectly. Very happy with the performance!

When I first got this laptop, I was greeted to a beautiful and slick packaging. The laptop itself is made almost completely out of metal with a nice gold and black finish. I previously owned a Mac, when I got this the mac was un comparable when comparing speed and quality of the screen. I would highly recommend this laptop, especially for someone who does engineering or gaming.

I am, by no means, a tech expert. I just enjoy gaming and such on a PC versus a console. So, when my previous laptop was on its last leg, I decided to research a replacement. I scoured the web and looked at lists, reviews, and videos. I decided on this model after reading so many positive reviews. Setup was very easy and quick. I had it set up in a matter of an hour or so and ready to go. I have had no issues running the games I want on the highest graphics setting. I did read that some reviewers claimed the fans were loud, they must not have heard the fans on my old gaming laptop. These are very quiet, even on their "high" setting. The keyboard is the perfect size, and I do not find that my typing speed is hindered at all (I average about 100 wpm) and the keys are not loud, but do give a satisfying amount of give when pressed. Being the girly-girl that I am, I also like that I can customize the colors of the keys. One other thing I would like to mention is the MSI True Color feature. I never had a laptop that had a feature like this, and now that I have it available to me, I don't think that I can go back to not having it. It is very handy for my games and also for watching movies. My only negative about this laptop is that it seems to be a fingerprint magnet, but that is easily remedied with a microfiber cloth.

From being a PC gamer and a college student playing all the popular titles such as CS and Fortnite. This was an excellent purchase. Build quality is great, of course beast specs and performance. Cannot really point out a flaw other than that the CPU gets hot. This happens with any 8th gen CPU and doing some research can reduce temps. Other than that flawless!!!!

This laptop is thin but powerful. I use this as my workstation as well.

I love beer. I drink beer, I just love it, but I also love to play my video games. I have a beautiful desktop I could turn into a space heater while overclocking the processor and gaming to my heart’s content, but do you know how difficult it is to carry a monitor and desktop to class just to take notes? Don’t get me wrong, I’m super jacked now carrying everything, but one day I saw a sexy and slender laptop with a black and gold color design that would make me look pretty fly for a brown guy. So I bought this tiny thing and I feared my vice-like grip coupled with my inhuman strength would shatter the delicate aluminum chassis and potentially snap the wobbly screen off its hinges. I found myself shrinking in size because I no longer had to carry a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and desktop to class everyday, I had a machine that could do it all. And then I realized my loss of gains was purely due to the power my laptop absorbed from me so that it can play Minecraft at over 9000 FPS. I can clearly hear children fling insults online as I teabag their corpses because I no longer lag. I love this machine and after uninstalling some bloatware, I was always sure to turn heads of my classmates while whipping it out. 10/10 would buy again because I’m rich....just kidding.

Some thoughts after a few months of gaming: 1. After some annoying initial setup (e.g. removing the partition, undervolting the CPU, etc), the machine is running much better 2. Playing games on Ultra at 1080p is a breeze. 3. Works well with my Oculus setup (though not as well as my desktop of course) Overall, a great purchase for everyday + gaming use.

beautiful laptop with an amazing screen. graphics card runs hot while playing games but that is to be expected on max settings. dragon control center makes it easy to switch between turbo setting for games and eco settings for standard use. Only con is the placement of the power port and the weight of the power brick, but a small price for this much mobile power.

The MSI GS65 is a very nice laptop - thin and easy to carry. It has Nvidia GTX1070. I have compared it with other thin models with similar hardware and decided to buy MSI in terms price and performance. But there is a problem on lack support on Linux Ubuntu. It took me 2 days to successfully installing it with Linux OS with dual boots (windows 10 and Ubuntu 18.04). I still have problem on wifi 5gig radio mode and have to use 2.5gig radio instead. Another issue is after screen saver, wifi card stuck in airplane mode and have to reboot the Linux system to get back on wifi. otherwise it's a super ...
