Absolutely love this laptop!

When I was looking around for the laptops it never crossed my mind to go into the "gaming" world. When I spoke to the best buy sales associate, she mentioned the gaming laptops and how she has one for creating graphics. I went with her advice and have not been disappointed. I am not a gamer, I have been using this laptop strictly for photo editing. The graphics card on this laptop is awesome and transmits true colors which is a plus when photo editing. The processor is very fast, I will sometimes have Internet, Lightroom, Pandora, and couple other programs all running at once and doesn't even show signs of slowing down. I like the backlit keyboard...unfortunately I don't believe you can change the colors of the light like you can with other MSI models. This one I believe stays white all the time. It stays cool when needed. If it senses it's starting to heat up, the fans automatically kick on and that's a great feature. Overall this is a great laptop for photo editing, if you are in the market for one.

Amazing performance but big drawbacks

Pros: -amazing gaming performance -great 1080p IPS screen -very light not too loud Cons: -1 dead pixel , need 5 to replace laptop under warranty -slowest 7200rpm HDD ever. Please do your self a favor and get the ssd version of this laptop worth whatever you need to spend the hard drive is so bad . Overall 3 starts out of 5 because the dead pixel and hard drive are just too bad for what I spent well over a $1000
