It been a year, half the keys have fallen off and we are replacing the charger because the cord frayed. My son loves it because he says it handles "needy" games, the engine is quiet, he loves the backlit key board, and there is no frame drops.

Externally Weak - Internally Awesome

I have had this laptop for a little over 2 years . . . for the price, you hope it will last more than 2 years. About 6 months ago, keyboard keys started to become shaky and the "i" key's retainer clip broke so the key wouldn't stay on. For months, I hit the little nub until it fell off. Now, I hit they key base until I get an "i". I use the laptop a lot, but I am not rough on them. I don't slam the laptop closed - indeed, I seldom lower the monitor to the closed position (set it aside when not in use). However, the left hinge broke this week. As far as internal operations - this purrs like a kitten and I'm just sad that the external weaknesses are making this increasingly unusable.
