I’ve seen the mixed feelings in the comments and it’s possible that they just got faulty PC’s. But so far I have no complaints other that the very vague descriptions on the Best Buy website/app. I feel there should be a better description of what you are getting.

This is a great computer and I use it for Adobe design products and my son uses it extensively for gaming. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the self-service online is wanting for more. The website doesn't recognize my serial number, and I had to search and search for this specific model and even then has no real support information. The 1TB SSD is awesome and of course the 2070 super graphics card is off the hook. My son had to explain that one to me. I would recommend getting a secondary HDD for storage of games. The drives are partitioned but I had no idea games took up so much room. Overall it's very fast, highly customizable, and I've had no issues since I bought it five months ago. One very small issue is Chrome for some odd reason won't run on it. I also run a side gig doing remote IT support and I can't even figure out what is going on. I try every month to tackle that issue. You'll be pleased with the performance, especially at this price range.

Very nicely packaged when arrived. To my surprise, it came with a 2070 Super Gaming Trio X, I thought it would have had a lower tier MSI 2070 Super. The 1TB SSD was a slight disappointment, an ADATA SU720, but I suppose this is just fine for an OS drive. The MSI MAG B460M Mortar WiFi mATX mobo can handle 4 sticks of 3000MHz DDR4 RAM, it came with two 8GB sticks of XPG Gammix D10 DDR4 3000MHz. It also has two PCIe M.2 slots.
The tower would not boot, and even the recovery options seemed corrupted and wouldn't display correctly, and selecting the preinstalled OS to recover from (when I was able to get that far) it wouldn't allow me to use the OS or recovery partition. I reinstalled Windows from a USB stick using the recovery file Microsoft offers online and Windows activated based on my account. I need to get the Windows license from MSI though, and this is why I didn't rate 5 stars.

My Lenovo Legion gaming laptop decided to break so I went to BestBuy and purchased this beautiful desktop PC. I hear a lot of people say online that getting a pre-built PC was a bad idea, but it is definitely the most cost effective method to get into PC gaming during the pandemic.
So the build quality of this PC is actually quite good. The case looks great and the overall design is very aesthetically pleasing with the RGB accents. The performance of this PC has also been great so far as I have been able to run most games on ultra settings at 100+ fps. Overall I would say this PC is a great investment and I would definitely recommend purchasing it if you are thinking about getting a new gaming PC.

I've had this pc now for 2 years and 7 months. I have ZERO complaints! It's fast, it's furious, runs my games w/o any problems & believe me, wOw has busted down more than a couple of video cards. I've not been able to give this one anything it couldn't handle. The wonders of being able to do w/e it is that I can think of to do, from editing, to game play, to graphics, to office programs, it's the best. Would surely purchase this again when my grandson is ready for something this nice.

Great mid tier set up. Parts are solid. Was best bang for the buck when pc parts were driven sky high. Use this as a basis for upgrading your rig later on. Plays great on its own.

PROS:
Overall, this is an excellent gaming rig! Since it is so hard to find parts right now, I picked this up on sale over Black Friday 2020. I probably wouldn't pay MSRP, and I will explain why in my "CONs."
The 2070 Super is a beast! It handles everything I throw at it and even runs Cyberpunk 2077 at respectable fps. It's already overclocked, so no need to mess with settings, just runs amazing out of the box.
Cosmetics, it's a head-turner. I get compliments from guests all the time on the look. Very clean cable management too, which I respect.
The case has lots of room for upgrades, water coolers, fans, HDDs, SSDs, whatever you need. And VERY easy to control RGB.
Very Solid MOBO, It's an MSI B460 Motor WIFI. With WIFI-6 and a 2.4Gig NIC. (Very nice MSI). I like the heat sink over the NVME slot. This board has lots of room for expansion too.
CPU is a 10700 base, however, this thing FLYS. If you look at benchmarks, it performs only 6% less than the 10700k, but runs cooler, and isn't as power-hungry. If you don't care about overclocking, this CPU will do just fine, and will even pair well with a 3080 if you want to upgrade later on.
CONS:
MSI advertises a 650w PSU, but when I took the computer apart I found a 550w. It's a decent brand, "Apexgaming", and I didn't have any stability issues, however, I did upgrade to a 850w Corsair PSU, and think MSI should fix this. 550w is way too low for this system build.
Smart fan control is turned off in the BIOS by default?? Since this is a gaming rig and runs hot, this should be enabled by default IMO. The CPU was baking at 90degress out of the box which is very close to thermal throttle. When I turned on Smart fan control for my CPU and system fans, overall temps dropped by 10-15 degrees C. The CPU temps dropped to high 70s, mid-80s under a super heavy load. I am sure this was done to keep it quiet, however, this is dangerous. I have since ordered a water cooling AIO, that goes with this case nicely. A new PC uder would never know to look for this.
SATA SSD, really MSI? Before I even booted it, I upgraded to an NVME 970+ Samsung drive, formatted the SATA drive, and am using it for game storage. The system boots in about 5 seconds and games load exretmly fast if not instant.
So, overall, I had to do some changes to get it the way I wanted it. Which brought the price back up to above the $1400 MSRP. However, I don't regret it at all. This is still a great system. I will be upgrading to the 3080 asap, but this 2070 Super is handling everything fine until I can get one. And I can always sell the extra parts, or gift them to someone.

Runs fine like it should. I just wish there was room to expand with things like disk drives and such. It needs a few more usb connections on the back. I'm using usb hubs to connect everything. Other than that it runs very well. Very short bootup times. about 45 sec. The 10700 uses the same pin pad as the 10900 so future updates are possible. So to keep it short Its very nice for gaming.

Great purchase I was going to build a pc like I normally do. I upgraded from 1060 to this 2070 Super I have pretty much-thrown everything I can at it and it’s beat every test. Great performance I picked up a 1440 LG ultra gear monitor and it’s been super smooth. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn’t want the hassle of building a new pc.

Console Gaming to PC

This desktop is an absolute beast and makes it so easy for me, someone who's been console their whole life, to dip into the PC gaming world and not feel too intimidated by it. I will be honest, PC stuff is not my forte, but this makes it easy for me to jump into it and not feel stupid or out of place. It has worked on every game I've thrown at it, does my homework just fine, and is so quiet I forget it's on. It works beautifully with the pink razer set I got and I can't complain. I love this thing. I decided to jump into PC after the catastrophe that was the PS5 launch, and I don't regret it.

I am not a gamer, but there are gamers in my family. This machine is quick and non-glitchy. There have been no complaints from my gamers using this machine. We haven't had any problems with any games. We have games from Steam, Epic and Origin on it and all play well.
I was pleasantly surprised to have many of my settings from my old machine ready to go when I first signed onto this machine. There were games I had to download but my bookmarks and other MS products where ready to go on this new PC. I wish it had DVD/Blu-Ray player, a couple more USB ports and SD ports. I have to use external equipment for that.
I searched many different stores and on line and found Best Buy had the best deal and it was in stock at my local store.

Amazing build, easy to upgrade, I bought the MSI Liquid Cooler 240M when it was on sale and it took me an hour to install it, I am a novice when it comes to pc building but I still got it done, I have already installed a new M.2 SSD, Upgraded the CPU to intel i9-10850K, and added two 2x8 GB rams. I love love love this MSI build, I had previously bought MSI and they never seem to disappoint! This PC does not honestly need upgrades, I did it because I wanted to learn and see my capabilities. I would always suggest waiting for it to be on sale and build your own if you can, it uses to be cheaper but with people buying all the good GPUs, these pre builts are way worth it!

Super purchase. Besides the great performance the machine case and components are tops. Glass side LED lights are really cool tower and keys very well built. The MSI software is the only OEM software I have not uninstalled in fact I use it daily and rely on it. Very nice machine and the running components are super fast they run my high demand photo processing ten times fast than my Dell 8900 and GeForce 740 graphics card. It brought a ten minute job down to about a minute or two. MSI also has god customer service you can call and talk with a tech. NiCE!

I bought this for my 10yr old son , he likes to keep up with current events and obviously gaming. I also bought the curved MSI monitor from Best Buy . This combination has been awesome, it’s super fast and the graphics are really crisp and clear . The other major reason I bought this computer is that it can be updated by simply removing the glass side panel ,take out the old hardware and slip in the updated one . This computer will be with my son for a number of years, thanks Best Buy
