Might have got a dud, but this thing was nothing but problems. The main thing was it overheated all the time, and was even shutting off. It would run games at a good frame rate, but again, it would overheat and stutter, and then shut off. Just didn't have a good time with it, so I had to return it and get something else.

computer stuck in games like COD and LOL, it's quiet but if you turn the high fan its very loud, would look for a different gaming computer

Had very high hopes for this laptop due to the good specs on paper. However, they only look good *on paper*. Every single game I attempted to run on this laptop suffered from insane frame drops and stutters every 15-30 minutes of gameplay. Baldur's Gate 3, Ghost of Tsushima, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Elden Ring, etc. I didnt even experience frame drops this bad on my last laptop with an Nvidia 1060Ti. I exchanged it after 10 days of messing with every setting/driver/update. The HP Omen I exchanged it for performs exceptionally better in every one of the same games, in comparison. Also MSI Center is utter trash - it's a literal joke. Design is terrible, instructions and tips and tutorials are non-existent.

I can completely understand why people buy macbooks. Bought this laptop because it seems like a powerhouse. Spent the first 2 hours doing updates. Then when it was finally up and runninng updated the apps. I wanted to play a game and plugged it into my 43” Dell, and the audio keep saying no audio installed. Spent 7 hours deleting and reisntaling audio drivers and nothing. There are 4 different audio drivers, why for the love of god why. Its 2023 how has windows now figured out how to get stupid things like this to work. My macbook and Dell worklaptop no issues. I would have done a clean reinstall but this is way toouch trouble to do on a new laptop.

An expensive product, that does not reach the level of its worth. Had it for over a year and it has crashed more than a Windows laptop that I had for almost 10 years. If you’re looking for something for gaming, look elsewhere or simply build a computer.

This thing keeps crashing/freezing. It doesn't matter if I am playing Geometry Dash, Fortnite, Marvel Snap, or Call of Duty - even under minimal loads the thing just randomly locks up on me. I contacted the manufacturer and tried all of their suggestions. I am currently waiting to hear back about what to do now, and hope they can RMA it for a proper repair.

Videocard ram is a bit low causes framerate issues in some games. Was unable to return since i left the country.

This is the worst laptop I've ever owned. It freezes up when you go to close a program, and half the time it won't completely shut down. I don't care for the MSI program that is installed and keeps reappearing on startup no matter how many times you unpin it from startup.

It's alright. My game crashes a lot I've considered returning it more than once. Not a fan of geoforce

Returned as it was not a quality build. It may have served its purpose but it felt cheap and seemed slow.

Overpriced at $1399. This laptop has what appears to be good specs but lacks the power and got extremely hot under high loads. A week after purchase I returned the product and BestBuy then had this product for sale for $1099.

First time purchasing a MSI. Wouldn’t purchase again. Purchased for gaming. Games would freeze constantly. When the screen was frozen the entire computer ceased to work. When frozen even holding the power button wouldn’t shut it down. Returned after 14 days for an Acer ROG.

I bought this laptop, I thought it would pull new games, but it doesn’t even pull cs2, the game lags and freezes, I’m not happy with my purchase and others, I don’t recommend this laptop

Great price for a pretty robust laptop. I bought it not for gaming but for video editing. Capable of rendering 8K video and will support editing and AI based programs needing a better graphics card than I had in my old PC. I did install 64GB of DDR5 RAM and added 1TB M.2 SSD in second slot. Note: you'll need the SSD mounting kit only available from MSI at no cost.
