Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the excellent performance and good graphics capabilities of the Cyborg 15.6" gaming laptop, frequently praising its value for the price. However, some users point to shortcomings in battery life and note that the laptop can get warm during extended use. The relatively small storage capacity is also a recurring concern for some buyers.

    Perfect Budget Gaming Laptop

Bought this for my wife to replace her aged GTX770 Desktop, Desktop was more than aged and had given its all to our gaming habits. It was time and since I have moved away from desktop PC's to go mobile, She decided to go the same way, Looking at the RTX40xx series and her budget, I found this little gem that will suit her needs plus more for a good while. Everyday Use - though 8gb RAM may seem dated it has proved to do well with everyday usage for her needs (email, browsing and streaming her favorite reality shows). Editing documents in MS365 no problems. Screen is nice - though it usually hooked up to an external monitor - roaming around the house, its not bad - but not a mini-led or oled either. For her use - perfect. Gaming - Mainly play Heroes of the Storm - no issues and can run it at max settings. It does get warm, but not as hot as my razer blade 15. Also the fans aren't that loud compared to other gaming laptops out there. It is quiet when used doing basic/everyday computing needs and rarely spools up - Haven't ran any benchmarks or monitored the temperatures for thermal throttling, but I don't think HotS is that demanding of a game in the first place to have it hit thermal limits. All in all - for a budget gaming laptop in the RTX4060 space, I think this a great value. I will be adding an addition 8gb stick of ram and maybe upgrade the SSD to a 1TB drive - but out of the box not a bad deal. Oh it is super light - chassis is plastic, but tough and feels very sturdy. If you are in the market for a capable budget gaming laptop i would consider this one. If you are looking for a hardcore maxxed speced out laptop, this isnt the one for you.

It’s a very powerful laptop with good graphics and good performance. It does get a little hot and the fans are a little on the loud side. I don’t use it as much for gaming as I thought I would but it’s still really good. It was able to keep up with my friends fancy gaming pc so I was impressed there.

So far it’s been pretty good. I knew the battery wasn’t going to be great but mine drains pretty fast even doing very minimal tasks. I wish that the numpad keys were larger and in a normal fashion but I’m glad they are at least there. Hasn’t had any troubles with anything yet. Slapped an 8gb ram stick inside it and now it runs better. It’s a solid laptop otherwise.

Vary good mid tier gaming laptop however it is lacking in ram and storage but that can easily be upgraded it dose get hot around an hour of gaming depending on what game you're playing i recommend playing on a desk so you don't burn your lap.

Great performance, great graphics. I use this for graphic design, film and audio editing as well as gaming. With a 1 terrabyte external hard drive to hold all my files, this machine still runs as fast as the day I got it. Highly recommend.

Great laptop I got it on sale, battery life is garbage if your doing anything other than internet surfing or word doc stuff. Boot into a game and it’s time to plug it up. That being said if your looking at this laptop you already know this (they all do this) it runs the sims for the wife and lets her play hogwarts and what ever else she has tried so far. I do recommend. Adding more ram. Did that before we even booted it up the first time.

Runs games really well, but battery doesnt hold a charge for very long. It's to be expected because of the backlit keyboard and power running through it. It allows you to play games on ultra setting and it looks and runs great on it. With a bit more ram installed you can multitask quite a bit on it. I run many tabs and multiple browsers on it with no issues. The fan is quiet and keeps the laptop cool. Its worth trying out if you need something decent to use. I would suggest getting more ram (32 runs well) and maybe another ssd (at least 2tb) for it if you want to see how well it can really run.

Not too bad for the price... if it's on sale!

This is my 1st gaming laptop. It is good for the price when you find it on sale. For a 45W GPU, it does indeed game pretty decent at 1080p medium settings in some AAA titles. If you get the 8GB ram version, upgrade it ASAP to at least 16GB. Same thing with the base 512GB storage, more storage is required for gaming these days. For the heat it gets while tasking/gaming, it's actually not that bad, despite having one fan. For low power gpu, and cpu, it is kinda expected to produce not too much heat. Use a laptop stand, or a cooling pad though. Overall, not bad for the price if it's on SALE (again).

Very happy with this new laptop!! Better than a MacBook, and better than our Alienware R13. It’s been on the outs for the past few months and this is certainly a massive upgrade from that. Runs all the games I’ve downloaded incredibly well and I couldn’t be happier! The Intel i7 and that Nvidia GTX 4060 are a beauty. Super satisfied and would reccomend it. The deal, for $800 is also a steal. Go ahead and buy it if you’re thinking about purchasing this laptop!

It’s a very good laptop! If you tweak it a little more you can get so much potential out of it. The RAM has to go up to 16GB to be able to run games like Call Of Duty. That display is amazing, super smooth and definitely worth it. The fan features are great but tends to get loud since it’s a laptop. Also, the storage should be at least 1TB. Good quality overall.

Bruh! I got this MSI Cyborg for school and shhh for Fortnite (Dont tell my mom). The 144hz refresh rate and the fast graphics are a MAJOR game changer. Got a Victory Royale on my FIRST match! Oh and with the 8gb of RAM, I can have my school open in the background so I can switch away from the game when mom comes in. This laptop is LIT, no cap! Highly recommend!

I’m very happy with my purchase. I bought this laptop solely to play games, and so far it has been working perfectly. It does heat up quite a bit and the fans are a bit loud, but other than that, it works for what I got it for. I’m glad I picked this over others for around the same price.

Bought this item on sale, which enabled me to upgrade to 2tb internal storage and 32gb of RAM. Even when not on sale I would recommend these upgrades, but they're super easy to do. With that being said, this laptop runs great and has no problem running modern titles or doing school work.
