I have been a console gamer for some time so this is new for me. That said, I was blown away! The screen quality, the ability to customize performance settings, the fast load time for games. Everything went above and beyond what I anticipated! Plus it's support light for it's size and power so I came no issue commuting with it as my work station.

An excellent laptop, light, thin and powerful, love it

This laptop is very sleek and powerful. The 1660 ti is more than enough to run many games at high settings. I bought this laptop for school (but really because I wanted a gaming laptop) I’m so glad I bought this, and the 144hz screen is very smooth. The fans do get loud under stress, but that’s to be expected for such a thin laptop.

I bought this laptop primarily for school but to be able to play some games. I'm commuting to college, so I wanted something portable. It gets a little hot playing games, but that's expected in a 15" laptop. The fans can get loud too, but that makes sense. I don't even hear them when I have my headset on. A great, cheap option.

I havent learned all the benefits to this laptop but I have to say it is a great laptop. It has tons of gaming features, and my kids just love the coloring changing keyboard (its the small things). Other than that its really fast and does everything I want it to do and much more. Definatally would recommend this to a friend.

I bought this for my husband who loves gaming. He’s into WOW and other similar type games to give you an idea of requirements he was hoping for. It’s super fast, super thin, lightweight but sturdy, doesn’t overheat or freeze up, and he’s had no issues whatsoever since purchase. Love it!

This is my first gaming laptop, and I don't really play any games that require intense support. That said, I adore this computer. There's vents in multiple places, the start-up is fast, graphics are great, and the system lets you customize EVERYTHING about performance. Essentially, it's everything I never knew I wanted.

I purchased this laptop for writing, photos, and gaming. I have been nothing but impressed with everything about it! Gaming is smooth and I have had no issues whatsoever. It also supports our Oculus Rift S, the battery life is exceptional, and they keyboard is very comfortable to type on. LOVE it!

I bought this computer to use with the Oculus Rift S Virtual Reality Headset. It works wonderfully. It is very fast, no lag time, and the images are stunning. I have not encountered any issues with use. In addition, this laptop is sharp-love the sleek appearance and gold accents on the black.

I needed to buy a lightweight, but durable, laptop for my son to use in college and this fit the bill perfectly. Although a little out of my price range, this laptop delivered. Very powerful, stylish, and a decent size, while also being lightweight enough to be carried around with ease.

I got this laptop for college after a lot of research. The laptop has amazing battery life for a gaming laptop and is powerful enough to handle any day to day task easily. The only issue out of box would be thermals, as the cpu rise to higher temperatures than needed, but that can be fixed easily with some undervolting, and since then I have had no issues with thermals either.

I love this computer. MSI brands are normally really heavy to carry to school but this one is super light and skinny. Also more powerful than Macbook who has the same price!

I decided to purchase this laptop (MSI GS65 Stealth-296 9SD) after following it's price trends for a month; I bought it on sale for $1420, which is a reasonable price considering its high-end specs. The design/build is gorgeous and relatively inconspicuous for a gaming laptop. It's lightweight as well and can easily be toted around between home, work, and the cafe. Other Pros: - impressive hardware and components; can handle everyday tasks, multiple applications, and AAA gaming without a problem. - audio is great for a laptop, and easily customizable. - RGB keyboard is bright and also easily customizable (not a fan of the gaming-style key-font, though). - battery life is excellent. - minimal bloatware; mostly MSI software that you can choose to uninstall. Once you've disabled the non-vital start-up programs, BIOS start-up is around 3.4-4.6 seconds, depending. Pros with caveats: - screen produces clear and vibrant colors, though slightly dim. - track-pad functionality is smooth (though single-clicking takes a bit more pressure than one would expect). Cons: - keyboard travel is slightly shallow. I'm typing at least five WPM slower than when compared to my Lenovo ThinkPad work laptop. - currently experiencing some OS (Windows 10) hiccups with two blue-screens and multiple app error-messages, so far.

Perfect for entry level pc gamers that want the power to play right out of the box. Runs Apex Legends super smoothly. Only complaint is that it runs hot during demanding games. Paired with a cooling pad elevated at a slight incline and it’s running cool now.

This laptop is fast, quiet and fairly light. Would definitely buy again. I would agree with others that the power connector being in the middle of the right side of the laptop is not a great place for that connector. Hoping it doesn't pose problems down the road.

This computer is great and super thin, though it does run a little hot. If you trust your skills with a screwdriver and getting into laptops/computers its worth while to put in an additional NVMe and new thermal paste.

Storage is really small and it gets really hot for no apparent reason. I've tried messing with the fan curves to make keep it a little cooler but I'm not sure what's causing it to just all of the sudden start heating up. Maybe its some bloatware the pc came with, I haven't done a fresh start so maybe that could be it.

I had spent a fair amount of time researching a gaming laptop that would have the performance coupled with longevity. This particular laptop has both and the ability to upgrade the amount of RAM added to the overall desirability. The performance of the laptop is excellent. Because of the SSD hard drive, boot up time is next to immediate. The audio quality is also excellent for a laptop. I purchased this product to replace a significantly lesser device and am very pleased that the price was competitive, it was in stock and I picked it up the following day using the curb-side pickup, and the overall look, feel, and performance. I've purchased laptops from stores, online distributors where I had them built to spec, and in my opinion, this particular make and model far surpasses any of my previous purchases.

I just cant get over how great it looks,it is such a beautiful design and very fast for its thin style. I have found my every day go to laptop, love it thank you so much best buy for the help and thank you MSI for the product keep up the great work.

At first, I was skeptical because of the design of the laptop. It doesn't look easy to get into however nothing is impossible for any potential upgrade later. So I ran some pretty recent games on the highest graphic settings and I am impressed to see how well this unit performed. Overall, I think this is a good quality laptop that can play games and get the job done where needed on other applications. I really have no big complaints with this laptop. The coolest feature (no pun intended) is the Msi Dragon Center. Being able to tweak settings such as raising the fan speed has really made a difference when needing a quick cool down. I would recommend this to any gamer, maybe designers because the display is what caught my attention in the first place, but not to casual people who just need something to do office documents.
