Amazing laptop

I previously gamed on an older Sony Viao laptop but this is by far a great replacement. I enjoyed the slim design where it comes in handy as I travel often. Extremely light laptop for the performance it provides. After researching other laptops this one delivered great performance with less weight.

Horrible spacebar design
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The laptop is AMAZING in every aspect except one...the spacebar. This is an issue with EVERY single MSI stealth laptop because its an issue in the core hardware of the laptop itself. So even if you exchange, its going to be a problem. I contacted MSI about this and they said even if they attempt to repair my NEWLY PURCHASED laptop, they will charge me for it. The spacebar's sensors are placed too close to the center and as a result of that, if you hit it on either the left or right 26% of the key, it doesn't register. This means that only the center 50% of the key works. This is a major issue because the spacebar is the the MOST used key in a day to day life. Just because of that I decided to return this laptop and go with alienware. Other wise it is an excellent laptop in EVERY possible sense.

Great for gaming

Upon returning the Alienware this laptop was suggested and it runs like a dream. Doesn't have any loading issues and it can even stream videos on my tv while I play a game on the laptop.

Warranty Roulette
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The MSI GS70 laptop that I purchased would not power up so I called MSI for service. I was told by MSI customer service that the MSI warranty is based on the manufacturing date not from date of purchase, so it started months before I purchased it (a date that I couldn't have possibly been aware of). This is a fact that I would have liked to know before I purchased it. Also it can NOT be serviced by Best Buy, it must be mailed to MSI in California at owners expense.

Great laptop
