    An extremely solid performing machine

I have had my 424 for a few weeks now and haven't found any major gripes about it. The CPU/GPU combo are the center point of this machine. I will be adding an SSD to it soon, which will increase the overall performance even more. The OEM 7200RPM drive that it comes with is decent enough that an SSD isn't absolutely necessary. The screen is fantastic with vibrant colors and depth. A quick word on the speakers. Hands down the best speakers I have ever heard in a laptop. Bass, all the way to high treble is clear and balanced. The backlit keyboard. Complete eye candy, but one of those things that I want on every laptop that I buy from now on. Noise. It's quiet, even when I was running Diablo 3 at full 1080P. There's a "turn your laptop into a freaking jet plane" button along the top bezel that spins the main fan up to like 5000RPM, and it's LOUD, but... 5000RPM. During normal usage it is next to silent. A huge pro to me, is the power, HDMI, are on the back of the laptop.
