Overall, I love my 890. CONS: The fan is VERY noisy. I saw that in many reviews and thought it was a silly thing to mention, and then I heard it myself and I'm amazed how hot and loud that exhaust gets. It's in an inconvenient place, too - right where my ext hard drive site when it's plugged in on the left. I have to keep everything on the desk away from the top left of the computer. The caps lock key is just slightly too close to the A - I constantly hit it instead of the A when I'm typing. Minor, but aggravating. It's seriously heavy. It gets uncomfortable (and really hot) to use on a lap desk - a real table or desk a must. A Pro/Con : the included software for custom key mapping, CPU management, etc is really nice...buuuut it would have been even nicer to have some kind of "how to use this stuff" brochure or tutorial on startup. PROS: It's powerful - I can play Skyrim and BF4 at Ultra with no lag or stutter. The screen is really crisp and clear, with no glare from the window or lights. The speakers are clear and sound great. Though I usually use headphones to block out fan noise. There is very little bloatware to remove on setup. The keyboard customization options are 1) good looking and 2) very useful. Overall: I would buy this computer again, it's got all the bells and whistles I was looking for. However! I wish I'd have known about the GT72 line that is coming out very soon, I'd have liked to compare specs and prices. I might have possibly gone for the newer version. I strongly recommend MSI gaming laptops in general, and the GT70 890 is a beast of a machine.

Amazing laptop, the sound quality is AMAZING, and ive been playing AAA gaming titles on MINIMUM med-high settings without problems. The speed is amazing, and ill be fine for years. Wish it had a better picture quality for Blu-ray, but monitors only reach 60hz, (that's just me being picky though) Still looks good!!! Wont overheat, occasionaly when im taxing it out on heavy duty, the fan can be a tad noisy, but not bad. Just noticeable, but hey, for what it can do? Worth it. Amazing build quality, you feel like youre getting a monster. They keyboard isn't made of flimsy keys, theyre very nice quality. Of course the multi-colored keyboard and customizable colors is a nice feature. Overall, VERY NICE, no worries or complaints at all. Only problem I had was with shipping, but that's all UPS's fault, NOT BEST BUY's. If you have a problem with shipping, don't leave a bad review for the item, complain to UPS. The product itself is AMAZING. Highl recommend this computer.
