I have enjoyed high powered gaming laptops since 2002, even though I do not game. I really liked the feel and the look of the MSi. If you like power, fantastic graphics, this one has a Audio Boost 2 superb sound, and it runs cool as a cucumber. Running hot was the reason that hard drives do not last as long. This is not a light weight laptop to carry around with you in a world where you can not get a disc drive to save your life you get the DVDRW, play, copy on and on. I am adjusting to windows 8 and do not find it problematic, even if it was I could load windows 10 when it comes out. Always get geek squad coverage it has paid for itself over and over. I would purchase again.

Based on research and reviews I felt this would be offer best performance to price ratio. Have not been disappointed. Machine runs Batman Arkham Knight for my son without issue. It is a beast weight-wise.

The system boots up in about 8-10 sec. I been using this for about a week now and had no problems. Great for games . I use it both ways a little gaming and work. Best machine I had.

This laptop will run pretty much anything you throw at it, from games to multithreaded tasks. However, the one problem I had with mine is that the space bar will not register when pressed on the far right side, which is not really a huge thing, but it's where I usually press it when typing, so it is an annoyance in changing my typing style. Apparently this is a fairly common problem with the steelseries keyboard. However, other than this everything else is working perfectly and as described.

MSI did a really good job on this laptop. The price is lower than some other gaming laptop manufacturers and with better specs. It runs many games very well and on max. I have very few complaints one of which is windows 8 this is my first windows 8 computer so it could be the fact I'm still getting used to it. Laptop arrived originally with 2 dead pixels on the display and the steel series keyboard has some issues with the space bar mechanism if pressed from the right side. Other than that it's a pretty solid machine and the cooling system on it is wonderful.

The graphics are great for gaming. The price was good too.

This laptop plays next gen games on max settings whits minor frame sacrifice. I've only had it for a few days but planning to do an update after a month or so. Far cry 4 plays amazing on this and many other games. new to Windows 8? Just don't use the app portion of it. I use it as a Desktop only and it works great. if you don't like new things oh well, the world changes faster than we can keep track off. The absolute best thing about this rig? it's UPGRADEABLE ! The GPU is upgradeable. amazing build.
