Great specs, features and performance. Screen has excellent color, and is good for gaming and photography. Beware of IPS light bleed though. Mine has some along the bottom, and it's very common with IPS, unfortunately. Otherwise an excellent computer.

Bought this laptop just under a year ago and haven't come across a game this computer couldn't play. Video card is powerful! Most demanding games run around the mid 60 fps. Processor is also a monster allowing me to multitask seamlessly when jumping between programs. Overall I'm very pleased i went with the MSI GT72 Dominator Pro G over the ASUS ROG. Couldn't be happier and computer is still running like a champ!

This laptop is really good for any gamer out there. Especially if you play WOW or any other blizzard games. There is no lag of any kind. When you get this laptop you will almost get the full experience of a desktop. It has a full keyboard and the screen is big. It is heavy but that is expected because of the quality of it.

This laptop was purchased for my husband who is a gamer. He loves it and will not put it down! This computer is very fast, never gets hot, graphics is unbelievable, I think I got a bargain!

Great laptop plays most games on ultra settings with out any difficulty

Bought this laptop a couple of weeks ago and I am very pleased with the purchase. Coming from a Mac, I was looking for a powerful laptop for work but especially for gaming and this profuct doesn't disappoint ! Managed to run Overwatch and WoW both on ultra settings, whiile atreaming a movie at the same time, without any problems what so ever.

When I received this laptop I knew what I was getting into, given the pricetag. However, once I loaded all the features it had and tweaked them to my settings, I can honestly say this machine is a MONSTER. It loads anything in a blink of an eye with its fast factory SSD and 24GB of RAM, can handle graphically demanding games at high/max settings due to its NVidia GeForce GTX 980m 4GB graphics card overclocking capabilities, and is fully customizable with an awesome RGB keyboard. Another major selling point is that as long as mobile graphics cards are released in the mxm architecture, you can keep upgrading this laptop to be certainly future-proof. Not only in its graphical aspect is this laptop upgradeable, you can also interchange RAM and Memory storage with PCI-e slots ready to plug and run! Only real cons I can think of are that it leans more on the heavy side and is not as mobile as a 15" laptop, but this is expected of a 17.3" GAMING laptop. The only better product in my opinion in terms of price/product is an actual desktop PC. THERE IS NO BETTER DEAL FOR A GAMING LAPTOP THAN THE MSI GT72-6QE.

This is a solid laptop. I bought it for video editing mostly and it crushes all tasks. No issues with it at all. Gets the job done.

After 3 weeks with this computer, suddenly it wouldn't turn on. Wouldn't recommend this laptop to anybody.

The GT72 Dominator is an amazing products. Everything you expect from an MSI gaming laptop. Runs super fast and smooth, and it just looks great .

I had this laptop for less than a year before the battery died suddenly. I used it on a daily basis, didn't give it any extreme wear and tear, and the battery died. Yes, I may have had it plugged in too much but it only has about a 5 or 6 hour battery life. Even if i did have it plugged in a bit too much, in my opinion it shouldve lasted for at least a year. Other than that a fantastic laptop
