The MSI MAG X870E TOMAHAWK WiFi impressed me with its excellent connectivity—especially the dual USB4 ports and Wi-Fi 7—which made my setup more efficient and future-proof. I chose it over others for its feature set at a great price point, and it absolutely meets my needs. Performance with DDR5 and PCIe 5.0 has been rock solid. Strengths include build quality and versatility, though the shared M.2 bandwidth and limited full-speed PCIe slots are minor drawbacks. Overall, a great value for a high-end AM5 board.

Great board, tons of both internal and external connectors. Setup was simple and went easily along with installing all components into both the motherboard and the case. Wifi is probably acceptable, although I do not currently use it.

Works out of the box, dropped a 9800x3d and 64gb of 6400mhz ram. It defaulted the ram to 4800, but a quick change of that in the bios solved that and it's up and operational. The wifi seems to download at 1gig speeds, which is plenty if I want to use it, but I hardwire. My internet is 2gig speeds and it handles that fine also. I only wish boards were cheaper. I remember top tier boards might have been just over $100. But now here we are, not even "top tier" and $250. Oh well, it does what I want it to do :).

Extremely easy to build with. The easy release M.2 screw should be implemented across the board. The features are top of the line and updating BIOS is a breeze. The BIOS menu is also very accessible and provides some great options to boost performance.

Does what I need it to. Super stable, easy to set up, and runs fast with no issues. BIOS is clean, temps stay low, and it handles overclocking

Clean board, plenty of usb too. I have never had a bad board from MSI i love their arsenal gaming line.

I have never bought an MSI Motherboard before and usually buy ASUS but I've always heard they were good so I decided to buy one for my new build and I don't know why I never did before because this motherboard is amazing! A lot of future proofing features like WIFI 7, a ton of USB slots and 4 M.2 NVMe slots with some caveats depending on what slots you use . I like that the M.2 slots are tool less to install for the 1 and 4 slots and it's super easy. I paired this with a Ryzen 9800x3d and it's be amazing so far. I will buy MSI Boards from now on and have no regrets. The only extremely minor negative is I got a white WIFI antenna instead of a black one like is pictured, but it's not really a big deal in the end.

Very nice motherboard has everything I need plenty of M.2 slots and everything is easy to get to and performs great with my 9800X3D couldn't ask for a better board

This thing is a beast. Easy to install my m2 nvme drive. Works great, highly recommend. Little pricey though.

Lots of connectivity, comes with multiple SSD heatsinks, also works with a motherboard mounted GPU support bracket. Only weird thing about this board is the green coloring scheme but you won't see it in an RGB environment. Great board.

4 slots for ssd easy set up and great for gaming and multitasking

Decent board with a wide variety of features, good vrm cooling, daisy chained prom21 chips if you have a lot to connect through USB, plenty of PCIe for expansion for a workhorse computer, two of the nvme's have 5.0 speed. Be aware, the qualcomm wireless module in this board, and the drivers (bluetooth 5.4 and wifi 7) don't support Windows 10. Period. So, the board itself isn't compatible with windows 10 if you want the wireless and bluetooth to work. It's not mentioned outright, I had to dig into the drivers to find this out. I run Win 10 LTSC IoT and Linux and will eventually need to swap my module out for an intel AX210. Also had an issue with ethernet not working when I first booted up and had to do the CMOS reset trick. Apparently a known issue - not cool for a $300+ motherboard. I shouldn't be troubleshooting as my first interaction with a fancy new pc. After CMOS reset, has been rock solid though. EXPO settings worked fine with my G.skill Flare memory. Haven't dabbled with PBO and undervolting yet, but everything you could want is there. If you go into using this motherboard with a Win 11 system planned you may have a smoother experience.

Everything about this motherboard is exactly what I wanted for the most part. However, I guess I got one of the faulty boards in regards to the realtek audio chip that's on it. After swapping to a new build, I am getting clicks, pops and booms at random points when there's audio going on. The booms are so intrusive that I have almost grabbed my headset and thrown it off. Aside from that, this board is amazing. Would give it 3 stars because of the audio problem, but the board is just that nice in terms of features and the bios. Would exchange for a new one if I could to see if that fixed the problem.

Excellent Motherboard from MSI, Easy to install SSD and peripherals. Handles a 9800x3d and 5090 easily. Excellent product. No problems so far, lots of customization for overclocking. i just run the CPU at stock and only use the EXPO overclock for RAM, extremely stable , no crashes

I'm not a professional so the easy install helps. The M2 drives didn't even need a screw. The BIOS is very in depth. I've had it for over a month. No issues.

If you want a good quality motherboard without spending a ton, this is a great choice. Not the highest end board, but plenty for the average user, with lots of features. Highly recommend!

I purchased this to replace My Asus Tuf X670E Gaming Wifi. Installations and configuration was simple and clean. I love that this model ships with a GPU quick releast button!

Needed to rebuild my PC, and this motherboard fit the bill for everything I was looking for. It's been a while since I did a rebuild and was pleasantly surprised at the sufficient labelling for all power plugs and ease of installation.

This is one of the best motherboards I have ever had. It is reliable and has never had an issue. Has all the bells and whistles and performs wonderfully
