I'm writing this after owning it about a year. This is a very reliable laptop, no major issues. It's fast and pages load quickly. Just a few small things bug me. First, the shell feels very flimsy. I honestly feel like I'm going to break the plastic when I adjust it. It's very thin plastic and flexes to the touch. Second, sometimes it takes way too long for the wi-fi to kick in right after turning it on. It will show "connected, no internet". Maybe this is normal, I don't know. I takes a couple minutes to work from being turned on. But if it's just woken from sleep mode this doesn't happen. I am happy with the size of the keyboard, I think it's full size, it feels right when I type, except there are no number keys on the side, just on top. But I understand that is necessary for the size. I wouldn't want to haul around a bigger laptop. OOPS ALMOST FORGOT....battery life is not the best. I keep it plugged in mostly, so I can't give a better comment on this. Overall, a great machine. I recommend it.

Wanted to upgrade my Macbook Air but did not want to spend $1,000. This MSI is fast, well built, and easy to type on. The only negative is no numerical keypad. I use this for home and work (occasionaly) so the numerical keypad would be helpful.

A great computer for the kids in virtual school to use and do their work. It is lightweight for me not to heavy. Greta screen size. Best of all is the price!

Bought this as a gift for my sister-in-law as a pretty affordable gaming laptop. Got it on a really good deal from Best Buy and it’s held up well for her. She’s able to play games like WoW on pretty good settings and still get good FPS.

Ok so it’s good, but not great. For this price-point it does what you would expect it. My biggest issue is that the keyboard is off center because of a column of keys they added to the right and the trackpad is itty-bitty. Don’t expect much out of the speakers and the bottom cover makes squeaky noises. It’s great if you get it on sale and are willing to pop it open for customizations. Easily repairable and upgradable. I’d recommend at least upgrading the RAM to 16gb. Other than the obvious cost-cutting measures it’s a solid machine. Looks great. Feels great. The all black aluminum just feels nice to hold and looks great on a desk. It’s very lightweight for its size and the battery seems to last ages.

This is a great laptop. I have a small business and this laptop is exactly what you need. Easy to set up. very fast, ability to run my Quickbooks and other business software. I have had Lenevo in the past, the MSI beats Lenevo hands down on every aspect. Bought on sale and it was a great deal. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants a great laptop for business, school or just using at home. You cannot go wrong. The feel of the keyboard is so smooth and the display is very nice. I looked for a long time to replace my 10 year old Toshiba and I am glad I found this MSI laptop .Great specs has everything I need.

Purchased this laptop for basic use, not gaming. I can say the quality, battery, and speed work well for searching the net, shopping, checking email, etc. Not sure how well it works to do much more.

Good, solid system. Decent storage size. Using it for a specific purpose at work, and it is running its tasks perfectly.

I was in the market for a new laptop. I don’t game on anything, I just wanted something current with an HD screen and an ssd. Didn’t have a budget in mind as long as it got the job done. This unit was budget in cost but comparable in quality and specs to laptops hundreds more. It feels like a high end laptop because it is a high end laptop. MSI hit it out of the park. Nice crisp display, lightweight, powerful processor and plenty of ram.

Great working laptop had it since 2021 and I use it almost on a daily basis and it takes care of my work and life needs

This is an excellent laptop, especially for the price! The laptop boots up very quickly and the screen is bright and sharp. 8Gb of RAM is great for general use and light gaming. MSI is a very trusted and well-known brand in the gaming world and they have certainly delivered on this great laptop. The finish is nice but can attract fingerprints relatively easily and the keyboard is nice. The backlight on the keyboard is just white not RGB but it gets pretty bright and is very nice. Overall, I would recommend this laptop to many people and if you are interested in doing heavier gaming I suggest an external GPU.
