Pretty good motherboard for the price I have a 5950x pared with it. I got my ram timing down to 3600mhz cl 14 all 4 dimms of 8gbs (32gb total) Samsung bdie, would definitely recommend updating the bios to latest version saved me a headache of clearing the bios every time a overclock failed, but after I updated bios the overclock fail safe kicked in after 2 failed attempts of booting. Also overclocked my CPU to 4.65ghz and 1.33 voltage worked first attempt. I tried pushing the FLCK higher get really unstable but it’s fine at 1800mhz just get the timings low you will get the same performance. Overall great motherboard for overclocking and nice RBG with it!

Pros: * Everything worked right out of the box on first install. * Two m.2 slots. * Bios is intuitive, if a bit "gamer" centric. * Wireless built in which really helps setup. * Optical audio-out is a nice touch. * Muted design appeals to me. Cons: * Some screw holes are hard to access due to heat sinks. * All fan headers are at the bottom. Can be a bit hard for cable management. * The m.2 screws were really hard to find in the box. (Note that I installed this into a Meshify C case with a 3700X processor.)

I needed a MB to replace a Gigabyte MB that had given me problems (DOA) and that Gigabyte is taking forever to replace. I have found this one and I like its features better than the other one I had. There are pros and cons on each, but on this one the pros outweigh the cons. First of, the BIOS update is not as finnicky as other. I like the integrated WiFi as well. The location of some ports is in a better position. I don't like the IO port on the other hand and the M.2 drive is installed correctly only with a screw defeating a bit the purpose of eventually have a quick replacement.

Clean and minimalist look to it. Not over saturated with RGB. I prefer the black and silver look as it goes with my build. Didn't want to bother with flashing so went with this over b450 boards. Wifi is a nice addition as wired connection isn't an option where my PC is located. Was concerned about the chip set fan noise but so far I haven't noticed it.

I would give 4 stars because the Mystic Light is sub-par and trash but they are just lights and we are here to review the motherboard, I just turned mystic light off. I have been using MSI motherboards for my past 3 builds. This one really takes the cake as a "sweet spot mobo." Solid feeling mobo, great I/O, Easily overclocks ram, the x570 is great with a high end radeon card and 4.0PCIe. Good for the high middle-low high end of gaming boards. My friend copied my COVID build with this board and is extremely happy with his decision as well. Good wifi too.

bought this board after my 1st choice had many problems. never used MSI MB,s before. but so far its running pretty good. AMD 3700. 32 gig ram. couple SSD,s and a 4T platter drive. 1080GPU. creative AE5 sound. some 570 boards have had problems with creative sound cards. this one has not. time will tell. so far its pretty solid. i,m not doing any OC,ing on anything. so i can,t say much in that dept. $ is good for mid 570 board. very good numbers on CINEBENCH_R15

In this day and age, you may want to consider a WiFi 6e option, but if you're just looking for a decent board, this one has a lot of great features. XMP profiles for RAM all work out of the box really well, and OC profiles are easily saved and enabled. The best feature by far is having the ability to boot to BIOS on one of the back ports. In case you are not able to POST due to CPU support.

love the msi BIOS, the bluetooth module is fast enough to connect a ps4 controller to it, the wifi is definitely fast enough for gaming, make sure to follow the instructions for that to get the best results, the sata ports are in a very good spot, no usb-C header, so if your case has a usb-C port at the front you're gonna need an adapter, but that's not the end of the world.

Great board, very easy to use, one complaint is the layout for fan headers. I haven’t had any issues!
I recommend buying this item. It works fantastic. Have no doubts about this item.

Really easy to build on, ( this was my 1st build) bluetooth and wifi work great after driver updates. Plenty of connections for add ons. My only complaint would be the board doesn't have a usb 3.2 gen 2 connector on the board, it does have a usb 3.2 gen 2 port on the rear i/o but my case has the connection on the front and I had to buy an adapter.

Solid motherboard. I bought three for my kids. PC is primarily used for school and games. I like the bios flash option and one of the main reasons for picking this board. Bios takes a little getting use to and requires some manipulation to see full potential. If you are looking for a solid, budget friendly motherboard, I would recommend. No real issues with this board for it's intended use.

MSI continues to raise the bar. My very first MSI purchase was a motherboard years and years ago. That motherboard is still going strong in one of my other computer builds. Whenever I look to purchase any computer parts, I always start with MSI. When I was looking for a new motherboard after purchasing the Ryzen 3700x, I saw this board for sale and did not hesitate to purchase and I can tell you that I am glad I did not. This board is flawless, from function and performance to aesthetic, it checks all the boxes and then some. The RGB accent lighting looks great without being overly gaudy. The I/O panel has more than enough ports for me, especially USB 3.2. The M2 Frozr heatsink works great at keeping my Evo 970+ cool. The MSI BIOS is always visually appealing compared to other manufacturers. The BIOS has a ton of features, and is very easy to navigate. I could honestly keep going about how great this board is but take my word for it, buy it, you will not be disappointed.

1) System is NOT overclocked. 2) BIOS/UEFI was already updated to the latest version by MSI. 3) AMD Ryzen 3700X 4) RTX 2070 8GB 3) 32 GB Corsair RAM (2x16) in slots B0 and B1 4) 16 GB ADATA RAM (2x8) in slots A0 and A1. 5) 3x Sandisk SATA SSD's, 1x WD SATA HD 6) Don't use an M2 drive. The board takes socket "M", though. 7) MSI - MPG GUNGNIR eATX Mid-Tower Case Had to go into BIOS and save/exit for the RAM to be detected. Kept everything at default values. Windows 10 Pro: No issues installing. ALL drivers were automatically installed by Windows. * I did download/install the latest MSI driver/utility setup files, though, just to be sure that there wasn't a BIOS/UEFI update. Bluetooth works great. Not one issue with it. It successfully paired to my phone on the first try. I'm very happy with this motherboard. Using a Corsair H115i 280mm AIO cooler, front mounted. (3) 140mm fans in the front of the case, (2) 140mm exhaust fans on the top, and a 120mm exhaust fan in the rear. --> One of the case fans in the front is off-set so there's airflow at the bottom of the case for the power supply and drives. Current session: CPU: 33 degrees Celsius. Max: 33.5 degrees Celsius. (HWinfo64)

Recently upgraded my PC went with this Motherboard and a Ryzen 7 The performance is incredible on it. only one minor downside the AMD drivers for SATA controlers were causing audio issues (sound was stuttering). I had to roll them back to default for now. Despite that its still an incredible board and very easy to set up and use.

Excellent board. The software and BIOS are easy to use and the onboard WiFi works better than expected. Have seen some heat issues with the chipset but nothing that would warrant knocking a star off of the review, mainly because I am not sure if it is board or my fan configuration. Will up date with more if the heat is board related.

One of the main reasons I purchased this board was because it has WiFi and two NVMe M.2 slots. However, the board also includes many other features that I have found to be very useful and have made my purchase that much more worth it. Bit of a side note for anyone curious, the BIOS is very easy to navigate and everything is well documented.

My MB died the day before a big game release and was stuck buying this one due to availability. Was not my first, second, or even third choice based on reviews saying it gets really hot. Figured I would return it after mb rma if that turned out to be the case. RMA was a nightmare and did not get a working MB back in time to return it, so now I’m stuck with it. But turns out it’s fine. Temps do NOT get too hot, though they’re not the coolest... nothing scary with 3600x at stock and ram at advertised xmp speeds. Haven’t attempted overclock. WiFi works fine though I don’t really use it. Only issue: if I try to turn on wake on lan, it won’t boot. Not that it won’t wake on LAN: literally won’t boot. Still trying to figure that one out. Otherwise, it’s fine!
