MSI MPG271QRXQDOLED Review – A Stunning High-Performance Monitor I’ve been using the MSI MPG271QRXQDOLED for a little while now, and it’s honestly an incredible monitor—easily one of the best I’ve owned. Right out of the box, the design is sleek and modern, with a solid build that feels premium. The 27-inch QD-OLED panel is absolutely stunning, delivering rich colors, deep blacks, and insane contrast that makes everything pop, whether I’m gaming or just working. Performance-wise, this thing is a beast. The 360Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time make everything buttery smooth—no ghosting, no input lag, just pure responsiveness. If you're into competitive gaming, this is a dream come true. I primarily play FPS games, and the difference compared to a standard IPS panel is night and day. Even outside of gaming, the clarity and vibrancy of the display make everyday tasks and content consumption super enjoyable. HDR400 support is solid, though it's not the absolute brightest HDR experience out there. Still, thanks to OLED’s natural contrast, HDR content looks fantastic. The monitor also comes with FreeSync Premium, which helps eliminate screen tearing, and it works well with NVIDIA G-Sync even though it’s not officially certified. In terms of connectivity, you get DisplayPort, HDMI, and USB ports, so it covers all the essentials. One thing to keep in mind—since it's an OLED, there’s always the concern of burn-in over time, but MSI includes some built-in screen protection features to help mitigate that. Excellent monitor for its price and features. Great colors and motion clarity, good size for this resolution and many options to choose from within the menu. Unfortunately it did need a firmware update out of the box and it did not come with a displayport cable. Thankfully the firmware update did resolve the issues I was having with white lines popping up on screen and a few other issues. HDMI cable works fine but a monitor this premium should really be giving the user both options between displayport and HDMI. Otherwise it's a great monitor, probably the best in its class and price range.

I’ve been using my QD-OLED monitor from MSI for a while now, and honestly… it’s on another level. The colors are insanely vibrant, blacks are truly deep (like real black), and everything just looks incredibly sharp and smooth. Whether I’m gaming or just browsing, the experience feels premium every single time. The high refresh rate makes a huge difference too — everything feels super fluid and responsive. Once you go OLED, it’s really hard to go back. For me, it’s pretty much perfect for everything: gaming, content, even just daily use. No regrets at all. If you’re thinking about upgrading… this is 100% worth it.

I was completely blown away when I first turned it on, the colors are amazing and the 360hz refresh rate, while not being that big of an upgrade over my old 240hz still felt extremely smooth. It took a while to adjust the settings to my liking but now, I have never seen games look so good. The bump from 1080p to 1440p was also very noticeable. overall an amazing monitor.

Be sure to set tthe refresh rate in the desktop advanced display settings, this screen is amazing with the super deep blacks that look like they are off, the colors pop and the usb c hub makes connecting your phone to charge and or use samsung dex in my case really simple i think it also has a built in kvm if your using multiple devices. Worth the purchase.

This monitor is what I wanted the LG to be. The display is glossy and makes everything pop, games and media are very vibrant and bright. HDR when supported is really nice and just as vibrant in sdr. The refresh rate makes everything on it look super smooth and since it’s QHD you can hit that 360hz refresh rate more.

I was in the market for 360hz montior and came across this msi oled one for a decent price at the time. I was hesitant as I'm not a fan of oled. But after using for a good 2 1/2 weeks this is visually stunning from just simple stuff such as gaming or editing stuff for fun.

This desktop is absolutely unbelievable. The performance is extremely fast, everything runs smoothly, and the build quality is excellent. I bought this monitor to replace an old 144hz 1440p monitor from years ago. The color is amazing even compared to my IPS monitors that I have. The refresh rate and response time is insanely fast. I would recommend this monitor to anyone who is looking for an upgrade who enjoys a mix of single player immersive games with tactical fps such as valorant or cs2. It's the best of both worlds.

Solid build and finish. Nothing to complain about there. Cooling is passive, 90w PD and a KVM. The only thing missing here is Dolby Vision Support but that isn't a huge loss. But considering this is the cheapest way to get all these features the monitor wins hands down over the Alienware, Gigabyte and Asus variants of the same panel. A little wonky getting set up for the first time. Some things were out of MSI's control but having to disable auto seek and setting power to be standby to allow waking your PC is a small oversight on their part. Also, the MSI OLED care 2.0 isn't straight forward with how it works. I had it popup while I was gaming last night and there was no obvious way to delay the action. Only "execute" was shown and this cost us the round as the monitor turned off. I'm not sure why the default action for this kind of thing is to just do it quietly in the background while you are away.

Great for Valorant, Rocket League, or any game! Only thing is, maintaining an OLED monitor is very tricky. You have to clean micro stains, fingerprints, and the pixels in the monitor after long gaming sessions. Only wish I had bought a higher refresh rate monitor

This was a huge upgrade from my last monitor and I'm really glad I went with an OLED one. The picture quality is so good and the 360 Hz really makes this monitor worth it. Also, the UI is really easy to use and has some awesome options!

Went from a 144hz monitor to this and wow. The smoothness in mt mouse curser alone it noticable. Also my first OLED, and yeah makes a huge difference. The colors are amazing. I love the mostly aluminum construction of the monitor as well, feel sturdy and adds a clean look. Overall happy thus far with this monitor. I only rate this product 5 stats as ive only had it for a few days, but so far its been wonderful

The monitor itself is amazing when it comes to the color's, the contrast, the black levels, and the motion rate due to the 360hz refresh rate. The only issue I currently have is the colors lean to be more of a reddish hue with consoles and have been trying to fix that. Other then that I still give the monitor 5 stars!

I've had to opportunity to do a side-by-side comparison of both the MSI MPG271QRX and the AW2725DF. Both monitors look absolutely fantastic. The main reason why I'm keeping the MSI is due to KVM and USB-C PD. The Dell came with a DP to USB-C cable but I like have a single cable setup for my work laptop.
