Upgraded from 4070ti no regrets, size is a bit big but it comes with support

I'm a data scientist, not a gamer. Pros: I must admit the MSI RTX 5090 is incredible as it's sped up my work 3x from my previous 12GB 4070 Super. The 5090 is handling my deep learning model so well, I think I will attempt to increase the capacity of my models. Cons The price is steep, this is the biggest purchase I've made in a decade. No fault of Nvidia's, but TensorFlow doesn't work on these GPUs and their most recent CUDA versions, you will have to convert your code base to use PyTorch 2.7.0. That was a little troubling. Overall: If you're a data scientist, I would recommend trying to curb your consumerism and wait until the price drops. Unless you are in a situation where you are training more than 3 models simultaneously.

Fantastic card, blazing fast, looks great and performs as you’d expect. For me it’s extremely quiet while gaming as well. Nothing beats the 5090 for high refresh rate 4K gaming!

I've now had the card for about a month. I placed it into a fully water-cooled system after using it with the stock cooler for about two weeks of testing. It's been absolutely rock steady both at normal speeds and after some overclocking. Anything I've thrown at it, the card can handle with ease. Needless to say, I'm happy with my purchase!

Handles everything I can throw at it. Stay cool and the nvidia drivers work great with it.

I upgraded from a 3060 and this gpu is in a whole other universe. I no long have to worry if I can run certain games because I can essentially run any game at ultra settings especially if I use the frame generation. Which I know is a but polarizing among some people but it works great and unless you have the input lag numbers right in front of you its pretty negligable to the naked eye. If you can get one for retail great but try to hold out if you can don’t let the scalpers get the best of you (trust I almost bought a 5080 from a scalper before I used up a liftime worth of luck to get this). Very powerful, very stable, also very heavy and very big. Make sure you have room for this megachonk in your case. At least it comes with a small pedestal to prevent it from destroying itself over the weight on the edge connector for vertical cases.

This thing is an absolute powerhouse. I maxed out the graphics on every simulator and game I have, with no issues whatsoever. For context, I run Microsoft flight simulator 2024, DCS, and several other very highly graphic intensive applications, in addition to doing it all in VR at times. It is hard to go wrong with 36 GB of VRAM. The only downside is the price. That is not the fault of Best Buy, that is the fault of crypto miners.

Pros: The best money can buy, Good looking card, solid thermals, quiet even on OC mode, no coil whine on mine Cons: Price price price, I know the market is crazy, but there is really no reason for this to be $700 over MSRP. I understand charging a premium for RBG and a beefer cooler over the founders edition, but this just feels like scalping from MSI Be aware this card is also MASSIVE, so make sure it will fit in your case. I had to make some slight modifications to mine to get it to fit haha

[Employee of bestbuy] This is an excellent graphics card — performance is top-tier, cooling is solid, and it runs everything I throw at it with ease. I was a little surprised to see the MSRP drop a few months after my purchase, but that just makes it an even better deal for anyone buying now. Despite that, I’m very happy with the card itself and would definitely recommend it. I'm a bit salty about the MSRP of the card dropping, and am not sure I'm able to get the price matched anymore, which is a bummer; but this card still rocks.

Had to sell my first born child to pay for this graphics card but it is everything as advertised, extremely fast. Upgraded from a 2080 super and there is a very noticeable difference with every game. FPS is no longer an issue and considering buying better monitors to keep up with the card. It was very hard to find a 5090 and Best Buy had the best 'wait in line' system compared to every other retailer. They made it easy to purchase and pick up within the same week.

First off, it's a great graphics card. The price was very reasonable unlike other websites that charged way above msrp. What I really liked was that it shipped with adequate protection as this was a major concern for me.

Been using this card for a couple months now. after upgrading from the 3090 Ti I can say that this is a nice step up in performance from the previous generation. The stability and performance has shocked me and excided all expectations I've set for it. Would recommend for anyone looking to game at 4K res and high FPS preformance.

I went from a 2080 Super to this, I'm happy. I've had this card for a while now with zero issues. It did come with a stand/brace that is tall enough for a regular ATX. The card did fit in my ATX. I switched to Full ATX and fortunately the tower came with a stand/brace since the one that came with the card isn't tall enough. This card is huge so, make sure you measure prior to jaming it into just any tower. All settings (for my games) are maxed out with great FPS on my 39" LG Ultra Gear Curved Monitor.
