Customers commend the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Gaming X for its strong performance, especially its ability to deliver high frames per second in many games and excellent graphics at a reasonable price point. They also praise the card's ease of installation and effective cooling system. Positive feedback highlights its suitability for 1080p and 1440p gaming, and the inclusion of ray tracing capabilities is also appreciated. The 8GB GDDR6 memory is frequently cited as a significant advantage.

Excellent RTX CARD!!! if you looking for an entry into the RRX world and maybe… some ray- tracing… you won’t find a lot there.. BUT!!! it’s a decent card for what it is. Yes it’s an 8gb. But it’s runs pretty good for 30-60fps on med-high. 100+FPS on low. It does stuffer a little when you try cyberpunk, starfield, and red dead 2/online. Unexpected in the VR department: pretty decent when it comes to VR… using the meta quest 2 and this type of card works just fine and will run ANYTHING!!! this card is a beast when it comes to reg/light duty gaming.. this will handle at least 24 hours of hard gaming before you start seeing high heat temps..
OVERALL: pretty decent and will say that it’s a good for a budget pc build or… that light sleeper build for all the DIY people.

Speed up an old PC and more.

I purchased this for two reasons. Firstly it refreshed an older PC running an integrated Intel video card that was robbing the system of memory. Solved the problem. Secondly I wanted to run Stable Diffusion locally. I was already running it on a gaming laptop but the fresh install on an older desktop increased the speed of the server immensely. I can now generate more images at a larger resolution (about 1mp) without slowing down. Also the local upscaler is lightning quick compared to my gaming system running a 1050. I wish I had gone with the 3060 now but that is water under the bridge. I have not tried gaming and probably won't but for my budget and needs this fit the bill perfectly.

Great graphics card coming from a old RX580

I like the card a lot, definitely an improvement over the old rx580 I had. They had the same vram of 8gb, but I felt and saw major improvements to the graphics and fps in my games. Before on Forza Horizon 5 I couldn’t even go above medium settings and keep 60fps, now with the 3050 I can do ultra and have a consistent 80fps with no drops at all.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 feels a bit like a breath of fresh air after last week's rather unimpressive launch of the AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT. On paper, there aren't any major compromises to speak of, and the launch price falls squarely into the mainstream market at $249. Unfortunately, GPU prices are still extremely inflated, and while cryptocurrency prices have plummeted, that doesn't mean we'll see reasonable prices on the best graphics cards any time soon. But setting aside real-world pricing and supply, how does the RTX 3050 stack up to the competition?
Thankfully, Nvidia hasn't put the Ampere architecture on the chopping block to create the desktop RTX 3050. While the GA107 used in mobile RTX 3050 Ti and RTX 3050 only uses an x8 PCIe interface, the desktop RTX 3050 uses the larger GA106 chip and includes full PCIe 4.0 x16 connectivity, along with full support for all the latest video codecs. It also includes 8GB of GDDR6 memory, though on a narrower 128-bit interface than the RTX 3060. Here's the full specs overview of Nvidia's RTX 3050, along with some competing GPUs.

6 months later this has been a very good and hard-working card. Used for most games at 1440p in my case with a powerful cpu, and an msi 1650 as a secondary card. Purchased for $309 Jan '23. The current 4060 is looking to be this card's replacement.

It works great! Definitely worth the price. And I’m not a bot lmao it’s actually a good GPU. It was kind of a pain screwing in though since it was my first time building a pc. Other than that it’s an awesome piece

Upgraded from 1050ti and its definitely better. I play at 1080p so it can run most games at medium or high settings depending on the game. I haven't had any issues with the hardware or software.

Great entry level card that supports ray tracing

I get 60fps or better at 1080p on most current and recent AAA games. The frame rate takes a big hit if you allow ray tracing, but we play a lot of RTX enabled Minecraft, and that runs very well. More detailed games may suffer unless you disable ray tracing (and on Elden Ring ray tracing won't work at all for my system using this card).
Otherwise I grabbed anything on Xbox Game Pass for Windows that supported ray tracing, and other than Elden Ring they all looked fantastic at solid frame rates.
If you find this at MSRP or lower I would not hesititate to recommend this card.

For a 3050 it’s pretty good but not as good as the 3060 ti which in all honesty blows it out of the water and I’m happy I switched it out, it’s a good base graphics card though if you’re looking for a good option that doesn’t cost as much as a 3060 ti.
