So when i went to Best Buy and saw they had to this card in stock, i didn’t hesitate. I use my PC strictly for video editing and this RTX 3050 allows me to render video pretty fast. Would recommend for anyone doing basic editing. If you do a lot of VFX OR 3D work i would say get a more expensive card.

It will handle games just fine at medium to high settings, but very high and ultra definitely seem to give it problems. Cooling is great. Even when its pushed to its max, the fans barely have to ramp up and are hardly audible and the temps stay well below 70c from every test I've run on it. This will be a great card for an average gamer, but is unlikely to satisfy more passionate gamers.

I do get every now and then artifacts when watching a movie, mostly on pausing and starting the movie. Also for some odd reason when on a streaming site (through browser) the screen will go black (both on 4k 50" and 4k 43" tv of two different brands) at 1st for a second. But this could all be related to windows 11 or the browser or even the movie player (vlc). I really don't know. Giving it 3 stars as its no better than what I had before this (AMD Radian RX580) which I only wanted to get this NVIDIA just to get away from AMD's gawd awful video drivers. I am starting to regret this purchase though.
