MSI did a phenomenal job with slimming down the gargantuan 4090 into something that can fit in nearly any ATX case. It is also way quieter than a 6950xt I owned in the past. This 4090 having a smaller chassis as well as a smaller cooler despite being a power hungry beast with at minimum 450 watts when maxed out, it’s a modern marvel of design that they got the noise level down to a whisper at most. It’s pricey, even more so than the model card, but the performance and the amount of VRAM 4090s have is no joke. I’d say the cooler design can warrant a little premium.

It's a beast and fits easily where other 4090's might not. I initially was just running a 5800x and 32gb ddr4 and the card screamed at 4k with or without DLSS and high+ settings in everything I played. Only 4 stars because the retail price was ridiculous even though I paid up.

Absolutely love it. Paired with my Ryzen 9 5900x I’m getting 240fps at 1440p using dlss frame generation in COD Warzone. Love the smaller design. With NZXT h6 flow case have no issues with temp or noise. Would buy again!

I really like the slimmed down design of this model. It fits very well in my LIAN LI 205M MESH Micro ATX case. The RTX 4090 GPU is truly amazing for running AI models and gaming at 4k.

Had it for about 2 weeks now, bought the corsair premium cables and a 100 psu for this energy sucker. Not gaming you hardly even notice its there, while gaming still quiet (*shocker*); plays games like cyberpunk 2077 at max and doesn't complain, plays anything really. If you want to just jump into a game and play and not worry then this thing is for you haha. I had a 7900xtx previously but NVIDIA drivers are just superior, no crashes to date. Probably gonna buy the 5090 at launch because why not, I don't care what it costs I gotta have it for science.

Price, performance, and size. Its so expensive I took out a line of credit. Its performance is so good I upgraded to 4k 240hz. Its size so substantial I had to replace a radiator with an air cooler to fit.

If you have a larger case, I would recommend going for a different variant. I have an H9 airflow and only got the slim because it was the only 4090 available at the time. If there were other options I would’ve gone for the GAMING OC by gigabyte or gaming trio MSI. Other than that, it works great, temps are usually at 55-75c when under load. GPU usage paired with a 14700k very rarely at 100% but that is to be expected with this card. One niche I do have with this card is the support bracket sucks. Going to get a vertical mount.

Great card at a great price. It super quite in my rig. It runs all the games I throw at it on my 55 inch 4k display without any issues.

I have this in a new build. It's running perfectly with no issues, and runs all of my games very fast. It's expensive, but if you have the means, I highly recommend it.

Like another review said this thing is pricey woulda saved $200 if I picked up the founders but that thing flies off the shelf faster than Stanley cups I actually had one in my cart with their cart system but lost it due to time so I pulled up my big boy pants and paid extra for this and well it’s worth every penny. Previously had an xtx which was solid but couldn’t run Fortnite at max graphics which is what I would’ve liked for my first pc build but this thing can and it barely breaks a sweat. Handles gta mods like a beast. My monitor 4k 144 monitor isn’t even nice enough to handle what it’s fully capable of. So if you’re on the fence on getting a 4080 /super or xtx then just make the jump to the 4090 it’s so worth it. I don’t use rgb at all but if that’s your thing it looks nice and is customizable.

The 4090 is phenomenal for high refresh rate gaming at 4k. It drops no frames and plays most games at 90-120 fps. If youre thinkinf about it, stop. Just do it.

Small footprint with the same power as it's 4090 rivals. The thermals are amazing as well. I seriously do not know how MSI pulled this off. Amazing card.

I won't return it thats for sure. Playing all my games on Max settings averaging 4k 105 fps sometimes 120 but average is 105. But im fine with that for now till thew 5090 comeout thatll do 4k 144 for sure. And best buy is the best place since i can remember. Make sure to be a pro member so many savings. Make sure to get a 1200 corsair power supply with it so you get the right power connector or else it might melt

Great card, amazing performance. I built my very 1st PC using this graphics card. I have been a console gamer for 25 years and when i tell you that this blows any game console out of the water, im talking literally 4x the performance on the same resolution (1080p) as the console

Literally does everything plus more that i throw at it. Pricey, but worth it so far. Especially for streaming.

Okay, I admit, the price tag on the MSI GeForce RTX 4090 GAMING SLIM 24G made me wince at first. But let me tell you, this thing is an absolute monster! If you're serious about 4K gaming, look no further. Every game I throw at it, maxed-out settings, ray tracing... it laughs it off and still pumps out insane framerates. The coolest part is the "SLIM" design. I've got a smaller case, and most 4090s are huge. This one? Fits like a glove and still runs super cool and quiet. Here's the deal: If you're rocking a top-of-the-line rig, this card should be on your shortlist. Yes, it's expensive, but the performance is just ridiculous. Also, make sure your power supply can handle it – this thing is power-hungry! Would I buy it again? In a heartbeat – this card has transformed my gaming!
