It’s a strong card. Arc Raiders no upscaling, 4k ultra is running 85-90 fps. It’s a beast.

this has been great, easy to install, really fast. Now I do have an older CPU so probably not using it to its fullest ability yet. love it

Very good overclocker this msi 5080 gaming trio might have a hefty price tag but definitely worth it.

Good 1080p card and 1440p but very lacking in 4k but both the 5070ti and 5080 ive owned from msi have gotten coil whine

TLDR: Good Card, 5080/5090 prices in general, not so good.

This graphics card performs very well in games. It delivers high frame rates and smooth gameplay at high settings. The cooling system works well, and the fans are not too loud during normal use. The card feels solid and looks great, but it is quite large, so make sure your case has enough space. Overall, I am very satisfied with the performance and would recommend it for a high-end gaming PC.

Upgraded to this MSI RTX 5080 from a 30-series card and the difference is night and day. I was worried about the size, but it fit into my mid-tower just fine (though it's definitely a "thicc" card). The Gaming Trio cooler is incredibly quiet—even under heavy load in Cyberpunk with ray tracing maxed out, the temps stayed well under 65C. The design is sleek without being too "flashy," and the RGB is subtle enough to look premium. It’s expensive, yeah, but if you’re looking for high-refresh 4K gaming, this is basically the sweet spot for the 50-series right now. Pros: Stays very cool and quiet. 4K performance is flawless. Build quality feels very solid. Cons: It’s a massive card, so check your case clearance! Price is steep, but you get what you pay for.

I went from an EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra to this MSI 5080, with a lot of hesitancy, only to be completely pleased with the performance. When I run my games on max settings, not only does it look and perform better, the card is significantly quieter down to a whisper. When I would run games with my 3090, it might as well have been a free space heater with the noise and heat. This card has a very nice, quiet, premium build and performs extremely well with anything that I throw at it. Fantastic card.

Card is extremely quiet even with the BIOS switch set to "gaming" (be sure to change this when you first install it for best performance, as it comes with the switch set to "silent" by default). Even in demanding games in a very warm summer room I've never seen it go over 72c, so it stays very cool. It's an incredible card, performance is outstanding and feature-wise it's the best card I've owned; the major drawback is that the price is smack in the middle of the absurd range. Price aside, the card is pretty much as good as you could possible hope for. Performance out of box seems to be up to ~10%ish over the FE cards, give or take a bit depending on the game, which is way better than I expected for a factory OC. It's even a pretty decent looking card, if that's something you're looking for, although the RGB is a bit much for me (it's easy to adjust with MSI's software, though). It's an outstanding card, but it better be for that price tag. If you build for your budget and your budget supports this, it's a great addition to your system. If you have any concerns about any other core components in your system, save yourself some cash and go with a 5070ti and spend whatever's left on those other upgrades.

This graphic card is AMAZING!! Has a silent or OC mode that works effectively. Runs consistently high frames on even epic settings. Temps on this bad boy are insane, it does not ever go above 55 Celsius for me while gaming. I’m am throughly impressed with the quality of this card. It was worth every penny I spent on it. The design and lights look great. Does everything I need it to do and more. If I could rate this higher than 5 stars I would. I matched this card with a Ryzen 7 9800x3d they run great together, a perfectly match! I average close to 300 fps with no frame generation on at all. With frame generation it goes even higher.

Hard to get and despite the high price and low generational upflift, this thing is a beast! Upgraded from a 3080 10gig and finally 4k maxed is a fluid experience on my OLED. Overclocks beyond 400mhz core (in which it draws over 400 watts at times) and gets it within breathing distance of a 4090 (albeit for barely less money and substantially less Vram). But for the next few years this will keep me happy before 6000 series releases with hopefully a smaller process node and thus much better performance, efficiency and thermals.

This MSI RTX 5080 is an absolute powerhouse! It runs cool, staying below 65°C even under heavy loads, and is practically silent 99% of the time. When the fans do spin up, they’re barely noticeable. Performance-wise, this card handles everything effortlessly—I haven’t even needed to overclock it. My only minor gripe is the RGB; it’s barely visible, which is a missed opportunity for those who love flashy setups. That said, the sleek design and top-tier performance make this an easy recommendation for any gamer or creator looking for a top-tier GPU.

I upgraded from a 4070 Super, this blows it away. No issues, it was plug and play and MSI center picked it up and adjusted the settings. IDLE temp is 40-42c, under gaming load I have not gone over 55c. Has LED that MSI center manages, I have it set to temp but it can be adjusted. Its Heavy, it comes with a stand, I use it in the middle to avoid sag or PCIe bending. I tried to build this using as much MSI as I could, this card was the last peice I needed - I also have a MSI 5070TI Ventus but I am building a different system with that card, I ran some performance testing and both the 5070TI OC and 5080 OC are close enough in performance you could save some money.. Cost of this card is high, but I was able to save by using some points and offset by selling my 4070. When I put this together prices were not as high as they are now, I got the 5070 for under 700. First off easy to install physically and on the computer itself. Very silent no noise . But the best part is the graphics , run high settings and I'm stills getting great frames across all titles . If your looking to spend on your upgrade I highly recommend.

Awesome video card runs cool and quiet. Close to my RTX4090. I would recommend this card to anyone wanting a great gaming experience!!!!!!

Coming from a 4070ti super that i barely had for a year you can say this was a wild card buy.. according to tests and reviews this card seemed to only give about 15%-30% gains compared to my previous card. For someone who can only use 4k/60fps that meh % gains can actually make the games I play run at stable 60fps so I say it was definitely worth it.. the price is very hard to chew and it almost didnt fit in my case but made it work! Now time to play realistic looking minecraft with mods and shaders at 4k/60fps.
