This graphic card is AMAZING!! Has a silent or OC mode that works effectively. Runs consistently high frames on even epic settings. Temps on this bad boy are insane, it does not ever go above 55 Celsius for me while gaming. I’m am throughly impressed with the quality of this card. It was worth every penny I spent on it. The design and lights look great. Does everything I need it to do and more. If I could rate this higher than 5 stars I would. I matched this card with a Ryzen 7 9800x3d they run great together, a perfectly match! I average close to 300 fps with no frame generation on at all. With frame generation it goes even higher.

Hard to get and despite the high price and low generational upflift, this thing is a beast! Upgraded from a 3080 10gig and finally 4k maxed is a fluid experience on my OLED. Overclocks beyond 400mhz core (in which it draws over 400 watts at times) and gets it within breathing distance of a 4090 (albeit for barely less money and substantially less Vram). But for the next few years this will keep me happy before 6000 series releases with hopefully a smaller process node and thus much better performance, efficiency and thermals.

This MSI RTX 5080 is an absolute powerhouse! It runs cool, staying below 65°C even under heavy loads, and is practically silent 99% of the time. When the fans do spin up, they’re barely noticeable. Performance-wise, this card handles everything effortlessly—I haven’t even needed to overclock it. My only minor gripe is the RGB; it’s barely visible, which is a missed opportunity for those who love flashy setups. That said, the sleek design and top-tier performance make this an easy recommendation for any gamer or creator looking for a top-tier GPU.

Coming from a 4070ti super that i barely had for a year you can say this was a wild card buy.. according to tests and reviews this card seemed to only give about 15%-30% gains compared to my previous card. For someone who can only use 4k/60fps that meh % gains can actually make the games I play run at stable 60fps so I say it was definitely worth it.. the price is very hard to chew and it almost didnt fit in my case but made it work! Now time to play realistic looking minecraft with mods and shaders at 4k/60fps.

Every game I’ve played runs smooth with great frame rates and the graphics look amazing. The card stays cool and quiet which I really appreciate. It is definitely on the expensive side, but if you can afford it, the performance makes it worth it.

I work as a video editor, so having a powerful card that can handle multiple programs and files is essential. The 5080 has been exporting 30-minute shows with captions in only a few minutes. This has greatly increased my productivity.
Haven't had any issues while gaming or holding up my 4 monitors.
It was easy to install and the LEDs don't overpower the look either, and if you decide to put it in a vertical orientation, it still looks phenomenal.
This doesn't come with its fair share of cons, though. One being the price is steep, and depending on what you are upgrading from, I wouldn't suggest this card if you have a 40 series, as the price to performance difference isn't much so you wouldn't be gaining much.
Maybe it's how I measure, but Best Buy says the height is 338 mm. I consider that the length is when you have it in your case, that number corresponds with the length of the case. That is about 13.3 ins, so keep that in mind about the case you are getting, as it will go past your motherboard most likely and get close to side panel fans if you have a fish tank type case.

I upgraded from a 307, was able to snag this. It works great. No perfomance issues, great performance, extremly queit, does not run hot. Sits around mid 60’s C under full load while playing graphicslly intense games like Stalker 2 and Kingdom Come 2. I definitely love MSI as well, so I am happy

Upgraded to the MSI Gaming Trio 5080 recently, and honestly, it’s been an absolute game-changer.
I was a little apprehensive about all the hype surrounding AI frame generation, but after putting it through real-world gaming tests, I’m fully converted.
I’ve been playing titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Baldur’s Gate 3, and the performance has been incredible.
Everything runs buttery smooth, even with settings cranked to ultra, ray tracing maxed out, and all the bells and whistles turned on.
The AI frame generation feature sounded gimmicky at first, but it genuinely delivers a noticeable boost—especially in demanding scenes where traditional performance usually dips.
Visually, the MSI Gaming Trio 5080 is a beast too:
• Triple-fan cooling keeps temps low and stable
• RGB lighting is tasteful (not obnoxious)
• Build quality feels solid, premium, and reassuring when you’re dropping this kind of cash.
Long story short:
If you’re on the fence, especially about AI frame generation, don’t be.
This card is an absolute monster and it’s genuinely made my gaming experience better than ever.

Excellent card! It runs very cool and very quiet. Idles at just over 30C, and just above 60C when fully loaded. Very impressive! MFG is also a real game changer! Only with that it had a bit more VRAM!

What a beast of a card. I upgraded to get more performance in 4K gaming. This card did exactly that. While it is quiet, I don’t hear too much coil whine.

Next-gen power for serious gamers. The MSI RTX 5080 with 16GB of GDDR7 memory delivers outstanding performance in 4K gaming, advanced ray tracing, and the latest DLSS technology. Its Tri Frozr cooling system ensures optimal temperatures and quiet operation, while the premium RGB design adds style to your setup. Perfect for gamers who want ultra settings and smooth gameplay for years to come.
✅ Ideal for 4K gaming, content creation, and VR.
⚠️ Requires a high-quality PSU and a spacious case.

I was very reluctant to get a 50 series card - for the obvious reasons: price (ouch!), potential melting power connector, the removal of 32bit physics compatibility - but, this card is pulling considerably less power than my EVGA 3080Ti. No issues with power connector (I check it often just to be sure). The performance is excellent. And, Nvidia has re-enabled the 32bit physics so no need to drop in an older card to cover that. Plays all my older games as well as the new titles (I would hope so).
Overall, if one can get past the price tag, this is a very good card.

GPU stays cool under load and quiet. Run everything i need it too at 4k 100+ Fps. Although it is a little too pricey in my opinion but i guess it beats scalper prices.
