    Home Theater specials is what this speaker line is. If you check out this manufacturer? You'll see, they're known for bass reproduction. This tower is an MTM or D'Apolito design which is proven to be one of the best arrays for film sound playback barring horn loaded speakers which is what Cinemas use. Now, if horn loaded speakers are too bright for your tastes? These speakers are a good choice. MTX now has these NEW, affordable, matching speaker line, that's meant to deliver "excellent" home cinema sound. So, I say, if you're on a tight budget? Buy 2 of these towers & 5 of the MTX 4" inch 2 way centers for the center and surround channels. Add a BIC F12 subwoofer $199 & you got a wicked 7.1 home theater speaker setup. Oh, I'd also buy an entry level, 100 wpc, Yamaha 7.1 AV Receiver, to power the 7 MTX speakers. ~ peace
