bought these for front speakers in bedroom system. Read a few negative reviews saying no bass lol theres plenty, sound is good and price was nice

I'm glad I like these bookshelves because they look cool sound great. I have them hooked up to a Yamaha receiver that is slightly outdated but still pushes great sound. Next to them are a pair of Polk Audio PSW10's, soon will be getting the 5i's for good measure.

Cinema sound quality. These speakers are a great addition to my surround sound system and exactly what I was looking for!!!

ATMOS TIME!

This speaker line is know for their
bass output capabilities.
They are a D'Appolito design which was
a required type of speaker back in the 90's
for true home theater sound dispersion.
Today, the new kid on the block is ATMOS
surround sound with it's multiple "Over-Head"
speakers for meta-data playback during films.
These speakers are tailor made for the over-head
ATMOS speaker assignment.
Their bass output & soft dome tweeter = wide sound.
If these speakers are used as the 2 or 4 over-head speakers,
they will ensure the viewer gets the surround
immersion they are seeking in the "god" channel,
aka over-head center speaker in the new
ATMOS, DTS-X & AUROS systems.
At this Black Friday sale price it would be a smart
move for a person to buy 7 of these for use as a timbre
matched surrouns setup.
5 speakers for the standard Dolby array & 2 for the ATMOS
over-head surround speakers.
This speaker setup combined with a $199 BIC F12 sub-woofer
would be un-beatable!
a 5.1.2 ATMOS Home Theater speaker set that many would be
floored by once it is powered up by say a Yamaha AV with ATMOS
surround decoding.
That's my 2 cents.
