    This movie was set back in the 40s, based on a true story in that time. Johnny Cash and Andy Griffith did a terrific job acting.

    I was actually in this movie, and never knew it was available on DVD. SO great to see the film again very underrated performances by the leading men!

    I was searching this DVD for a long time. One of my friend called and told that Best Buy is selling at a reasonable price. I ordered and got it in 2 days.

  • Griffith terrific villain, Cash great lawman!

    Great true story, with Johnny Cash having a great time playing the determined sheriff & Andy Griffith terrifically playing against his 'Mayberry' image as the villainous landowner. One of the best TV movies.
