This game is fantastic. It's much larger than some other "micro" versions of 80s arcade games, but it's still adorable small and full feature. Unlike other small version games, the case doesn't light up (except the "coin slots" -- which is also a handy on/off button). But, it's a clean display, sounds good, and is easy to play with normal-sized hands. And, when you just turn it on, like the original, it runs through demo mode, so it can be a nice bit of decoration. On the back is a headphone jack with volume control. You don't get to add your initials if you get the high score. I don't remember, but I assume you could in the original. It kinda doesn't matter, because it doesn't remember the high score after you turn it off. I hate those arcade owners that would unplug their machines!

Pros: - The artwork on this mini arcade is pretty cool. - The screen is bright and crisp. - The audio is also spot on and it even has an audio out jack for headphones when you want to play at work :P Cons: - Screen is small but that's kind of the point, right? - The d-pad/joystick is terrible. On Pac-man, down seldom works but controls do improve a tiny bit if you unscrew the joystick and use the control like a d-pad. Still, i think I'm going to just hack it apart and replace the switches and 3d print a new d-pad assembly. Yeah, I like these things that much :D Despite the cons, the nostalgia and the retro points you get when you have a mini arcade setup on your desk is priceless. People will stop and try to play them. Office hotties will faun over your burger time skills and you may get a raise if you can beat your boss at Galaga. YMMV. Overall, it's these are fun little desk arcades and I'd still recommend them as fun gifts despite the cons.

I'm going to start by declaring that my review is biased. Galaga is one of my favorite 80's games. So, having said that, this little machine is a perfect rendition to an all time favorite. There is no noticeable lag in the electronics, comes with an earphone plug, volume control, and can use AA batteries or micro-USB power. Have compared this brand to the competition, and My Arcade is by far the one with the best build and electronic setup. Really like it. After it, I bought 3 more games... The only downside that I can think of is that the arcade does not retain high scores. Once you power it down, it loses them, but other than that is perfect!

You will appreciate the mini arcade If you grew up with Galaga,Dig Dug, pac man and all the great games that started the whole gaming evolution. It's a cool little item to have Whether you're collecting or actually can play. Pretty much out the Box esthetically it looks great and the option to run Power from USB Or Batteries for portability Is awesome. The game plays just like the old school game Except it's 50 times smaller. Screen is very bright the unit itself is pretty much a good feel for quality and you can take off the joystick and play just with the nintendo style controller. Even if you didn't grow up in the arcade age You might enjoy thisTo.So my opinion it's Great buy either way. Can't go wrong with Galaga

My husband is obsessed with this game, so I wanted to buy it for him for Christmas. The size, though I thought would be too small for an adult, turned out to be just perfect. You can't beat the price, unless you buy used online and wait forever for it to ship. The only cons would be that it doesn't last on batteries very long (you can plug it into an Android charger, but it only lasts while it's plugged in). Also, occasionally there are sound glitches, so the sound goes out now and then. But for what I paid, and getting just what I was looking for, it's completely worth it!

The small controls take a little getting used to, but the game is enjoyable.

Of course its small, but a true to the original reproduction of the classic is played constantly. Wished the high score was stored into memory, but a small complaint for an overall amazing product.

It's Galaga. But tiny. Makes a neat little gift, got one for my dad for Christmas. Pretty well made. Only downside is that it doesn't save your high scores, so you can't spell bad words with your initials and brag about beating your various family members.

Got as a Christmas stocking stuffer for my daughter. Awesome game. Worked well. A little hard to play on bc it’s so small for me. But my daughter didn’t seem to have any issues. She loved her gift! A little expensive but I got it on sale so it wasn’t too bad. Would not buy at full price.

Brings back so may memories. makes all the right noises and has different levels. I played this little games for hours when it arrived!

Purchased this as a gift for my girlfriends mom. She absolutely loved it as much as I do! Extremely easy to use, compact and fun. If only I could find a miniature of all our favorite retro-arcade games.

A definite blast from the past for sure. As a fan of Galaga since the days of arcades, I saw this little version and thought it was worthy of a $20 investment. It definitely is...

If I were to describe this thing I would say it's a Time Machine... Lead me back to the 80s when life was easy recommended for use as a gift or for that man that needs a little escape from the everyday.

I use to play this game in my teenage years and was so excited to see this miniature version. This game is a lot of fun and portable so you can take it anywhere. Brings back a lot of memories!

So this is super tiny (I knew this before ordering) but I knew my son would love it for Christmas! Little pricey for the size & not sure how long it’ll hold up but it is neat. Wish it was a little bigger!!

I bought this for my cousin as a birthday gift, now everyone in his house wants one. Works great and is a fun novelty to have.

This was a game that I use to play all the time when I was a child. And I always wanted one and this is the best maybe small but it’s like the one I use to play.

I really didn’t believe that this would work. But the game is awesome. I love to play it with my grandkids. Thanks for having a wide range of items
