What a great steelbook for a 1980s slasher! This one is perhaps the best horror flick for Valentine's Day. This is the original 1981, not the remake. This is a 2 disc set, much like that of the Scream Factory release with the slipcover. I am a collector of the steelbook format, so if it's good enough in overall artwork, I will buy it. Special features are all brought over from the previous 2 disc version, but I have to say, the artwork on the actual Blu-rays are different than that of the slipcover release. Disc 1 is the Theatrical release. Disc 2 is the Uncut release with more intense kill scenes that were cut out of the original due to the movie ratings at the time in 1981. The 4K scan looks really good on the 4K TV and player. Recommended!

This is my second attempt to review, my first one never posted. This is a classic of the genre, a slasher with heart. Yes, the acting isn’t the best but most were not professional actors. The director did a great job, too bad he didn’t get a sequel. If you love 80’s horror then you should already have purchased. If you’re on the fence, give it a rental. The steelbook is awesome!

The artwork on the steelbook itself is meh. The picture quality on this release is leaps and bounds better than older releases. I hope this is one that they end up releasing on 4K. It’s one of my favorites!

I won't review the film itself, suffice it to say, it's one of the most under-appreciated Slashers ever made. Gory 80's nonsense is the order of the day and MBV delivers. The quality of this Shout Factory blu-ray's audio and video (supposedly a new 4k scan) aren't going to blow your mind, but are certainly better than you remember. The real reasons to own these discs are the "limited" designation and the special features, which includes both cuts of the film. Very nice. The steelbook is well-made, though the art isn't my absolute favorite, I can appreciate the intention. Must own for fans of the film.

This is a great classic slasher film. I’m glad they decided to release the original with the Steelbook instead of the remake. This film is every thing you would want in a slasher movie good kills the story is well paced and interesting the acting is really good and overall it’s just a fun movie.

So glad I found this movie at a great price I did curbs side for this movie at Best Buy, the purchase went through smoothly and the pick up was quick my favorite feature of Best Buy

It's hard to pass up 80's horror, especially when it comes in steel book form. It's a fun slasher romp that looks pretty good on regular blu-ray. If you are fan of these types of throwbacks, then look into it!

Awesome collectors disc! Too bad my Best Buy is down to one rack of movies. Tuesday’s were an awesome day for new releases but prob won’t be going to the store too much anymore since the selection is so slim now.

Shout factory really outdid themselves with this one. The steelbook is gorgeous, the movie is fantastic, the extras are great, and this has both cuts of the film.

Great movie in a great case. For the horror collectors for sure. If you love the movie, you will definitely love having it in a steelbook. Get it while you can.

First time watch and I must say it was pretty enjoyable. The amazing artwork and packaging here is a plus as well and was the first thing to draw me in!

This is the 3rd Scream Factory steelbook I've purchased. The quality is excellent as usual and this also includes the uncut version of the movie.

Excellent transfer, sleek case. Definitely pick up if you're a fan of Halloween, Black Christmas, etc. Scream Factory is awesome.

This is an older movie from the 80's. I hove the fact that it came in a cool SteelBook. Great artwork, no 4K only blu ray.

Amazing Steelbook and I have not yet watched the movie but I’m very hopeful too,because I’m a huge fan of the remake.
