I saw this movie before and it's hilarious. The clash of cultures from the New York Italians and the southerners in the small town is really funny, but also respectful in the sense that no one is portrayed as a 'bad' person or from a 'bad' culture. They're just different, but everyone is a decent human being at heart. Some people have told me it couldn't be made today. More terrifying, an attorney told me it's standard viewing in law schools because the premise happens all of the time ! That is, innocent guys are charged with murder because they were driving car similar to the car driven by a murderer (the only bad guy in the movie, and who is never shown). His cousin Vinny, and his girl friend, however, are able to prove it's a different car.

I love this movie. I think that Marissa Tomei did an excellent acting job in this movie and that's why she won the oscar award.

Nicely written. Great acting the judge may be the best character in this movie. One of one two Ralph macchio movies worth watching.

Classic comedy about a novice lawyer from NY defending his younger cousin and another friend on capital murder charges in the deep south. Great cast, very well- paced and laugh out loud funny! Marisa Tomei won an Oscar for her performance as Pesci's long- suffering fiance. Lane Smith is great as a good ol' boy prosecutor, and Fred Gwynne (Herman Munster) in a stellar performance as the astute, Harvard- educated judge that Pesci spars with throughout the film. Sadly, this was Gwynne's last perfrmance, and arguably deserved an Academy award nomination, as well.

This movie and a little rom-com called “Only You” is what made me fall for Marisa Tomei all those years ago as perhaps the perfect girlfriend. Funny she never got married in real life. Still got a chance, I guess. Anyways, this movie is a classic and it got Marisa an Oscar - albeit a controversial one. I still think her performance merited an award.

Fantastic and totally outstanding of a well made and enjoyable, entertaining movie to watch; if there was ever a moment in never knowing what to expect. This is the movie to set your attention to you will never regret the fact that this particular movie in all of the movies you’ve ever saw, you’ll break away from this one with much laughter through out the entire movie. Oh yes you’ll acknowledge the fact that this movie would locate and turn your funny bone of laughter completely on full blast.

It was a christmas gift to my father because he loves this movie.

There is quite a bit of language in this movie, so be warned that it may not be for children or younger teens. The F-bomb is used quite a bit. Despite that, this movie shows that Joe Pesci, Marisa Tomei, Ralph Macchio, and the rest of the cast all show off their excellent acting skills. Fred Gwynne does a great job as a no-nonsense judge with little tolerance for Vinny's rather unique mannerisms. This is a great comedy movie. I recommend this, but don't watch it with young children or younger teens.

I loved My Cousin Vinny. Joe Pesci and Marisa Tomei just capture your attention and hold it to the end. It's hard to believe this movie was almost 2 full hours as it only feels like 1, if that. I think most audiences will be entertained by My Cousin Vinny. The movie is really well cast, and enjoyable. It's not cerebral by any stretch, but I've seen it more times than I can remember and always get a good laugh out of it.

This movie will always stand the test of time. I laughed out loud when this first came out and I still laugh out loud today watching it on Blu-ray. The courtroom scenes with Joe Pesci and the late great Fred Gwynne will go down as some of the funniest dialog in comedy. Also, two thumbs up to Marisa Tomei for playing her role to perfection. This comedy is great for all generations.

He's he's a great movie. If you are in need of a good laugh you must see this movie. It had me crying, literally, tears was rolling down my face. and and the sad thing about it is, I kept rewinding to a certain scene and laughing like I just seen it for the first time. It's a must have in your DVD collection.

Great film, though not many extras on this edition. Nothing like setting a movie in the redneck deep south for some urban Italians. The banter and zest of Pesci and Tomei (Oscar winning role for her), especially in their scenes together, is great to watch. Fred Gwynne aka Herman Munster is also great in what was one of his very last film roles. "And lets not forget about your (rhythmically stomps feet) biological clock."
