I've been looking for an official release of this movie for years and I finally have it. There are lots of public domain DVDs and tapes of My Favorite Brunette but they all suffer from low quality and a washed out picture but this release is about the best you're going to get of this classic movie. Looks good with no skipped frames! Hope and Lamour at their best and Peter Lorre and Lon Chaney Jr. along for the ride in a fun movie where everyone but Hope plays it straight! I love the golf scene where Hope kinda breaks character when playing against an asylum inmate. He takes his golf seriously. No extras other than scenes from other releases by the company. I miss these kind of movies but glad to see there are companies still willing to bring them to dvd/blu ray for old geezers like me.

This movie has been a family favorite, but we've always had to endure a poor print. That is the case no longer. This blu-ray is a massive improvement on anything previously available. Highly recommended for a fun time, Bod Hope style!
