They'll need good reading skills

It's a cute game but at times a bit complicated for the average six year old; this game requires some above-average reading skills for a younger child. Many of the clues given are by text only. The first couple of games required someone read the messages and clues to her. However, after that she seemed to figure out the process by reading only what she could and had a great time playing the games and little 'side trips' in it. I would recommend this game with the suggestion that someone be available to help during the first couple of rounds. All in all it's a cute game and the Ponies are just darling!!

Not for beginning readers, easily bored

Gets boring fast, no challenge to the games once you master them. Littlest pet shop is WAY better for a 6 year old. Too much advanced reading, would have been better to voice over the areas that need to be read....that way at least they learn instead of interrupting me every 5 mins to help read!
