NOT compatible with all Samsung Gear VR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Items states it's Model Compatibility with Samsung Gear VR but pay close attention to Charging Interface which is Micro USB. The newer 2017 Samsung Gear VR has a female USB Type C port, NOT a Micro USB port (see pic of Samsung Gear VR 2017 model USB Type C port). I learned this the hard way. Hopefully my post will keep someone else from making same mistake. I'll have to get an adapter to use it with the 2017 Gear VR and so will you if you make the same mistake. Other than that, great little charger. I'm dinging this charger 1 star as it would have been nice to have a USB Type C adapter come with the charger considering how many devices, including the Gear VR 2017 model, use that connection type now.
