What a wonderful return to glory, with A-list participation throughout, a gem in Jonah to reinvigorate the new team, and some great intermission sessions, skits, and songs. While the riffing style skews to the ADHD society (riff-a-minute), it leads to more "direct hits" rather than quiet silence -- this was a natural progression from KTMA through Comedy Central through Sci-Fi, so while it polarizes some, the masses will enjoy. The films themselves help you retain interest, but all have laughable setup, dialogue, scenes, etc. that are great fodder for the crew. Excellent bonus features in the set follow the re-birth of the series (of which I was a proud backer ;) A worthy addition to your comedy library, and a must for Mysties!

Still a very funny show, but not quite as funny as the previous season. ANY MST3K is good, though. Don’t think I’ll ever get used to the more modern references with these newer episodes.
