Shockwave 9.2.4 Just replaced my BOSE Lifestyle SoundTouch 535 system and the NAKAMICHI is amazing. If it can do what the demo CD says it can, I’d like see a sound bar top that. Crisp sound with deep punchy bass. Just hook it up, no need for firmware upg, plug and play and everything syncs. For those who are concerned about placement and wires for this system, no worries. Mine are all wall mounted like my Bose, no special positioning and it still rocks. If you have in-wall wires go for it. A little customization, And ingenuity u good to go.

I love the sound and clear bass from this system. Dual subwoofers make the experience so much better. From movies to music, crank it as high as you want you won't be disappointed. I had to hide the wires with wall mounted track but still looks good. If you don't have access to attic it's a clean easy way to install. I would highly recommend.

I had a great Onkyo surround sound system that I owned for 9 years and I was a little concerned that this system couldn't compete with it when I decided to upgrade to a 4k TV and sound bar system. My fears quickly disappeared when I got this system up and running. It was easy to set up and the sound is amazing!! Two 10" subs give unbelievable bass. It is a awesome system for movie lovers like myself.

This is by far the best surround sound/sound bar I ever had when I tell you this thing rocks my man cave that the wife says turn it down the whole house is vibrating lol if u like bass this is for you I installed speakers on wall as u see in pictures works for me

I’ve had it for over two years and it’s been a great system much better than I expected after having different experiences with other we’ll know brands this has been the best by far premium sound and the Atmos is the best.

this soundbar is awesome compare to my LG SK9Y 5.1.2 Nakamichi delivers 3D sounds perfectly..watching atmos movies gives you a realistic movie theater experience. No doubt Nakamichi nailed it highly recommended.

Best sound I have ever herd for a home theater. Easy install. Remote layout is very simple. From watching Sunday night football to the classic Star Wars this system rocks out incredible sound.

It beat my expectations in many ways, The SSE feature transforms the normal TV sound also into surround taking the TV viewing experience to a whole new level. Only Con is the the physical wiring from Subs to surround speakers, I had quite a challenge to run them thru attic besides buying another longer cable of 50' [cable with in the box was little less than 32']. Ultimately it is the best sound experience you can get for this price.

This surround sound shakes my couches when there’s rumbles on the screen and it’s really like your in the movie now. So glad we made this purchase after many many years of research we decided on this one and are very happy with our purchase

I was hesitant to purchase this system but after having it for a couple weeks, i have theater sound in my living room now. No regrets at all. It has 4K passthrough so it is perfect. The soundbar is the perfect size for my 75" Samsung. Lot better than having a huge receiver and lots of speakers up front by the tv. REALLY happy with this purchase.

Soundbar is really cool. Sounds super loud. Only went to volume 60 as to not disturb the neighbors. Even if you don't know much about electronics the instructions, I think does a good job helping you out. It will seem a little intimidating at first with all the info but it's super easy to put it all together. Just take your time. Overall you will be happy.

Best sound system ever had! Replaced a great Polk Audio system but Polk wasn’t wireless. So that makes this system easier and better. Sounds just as good.

Nakamichi has confirmed that they have the best surround sound system in the market. I finally have the theatre sound I have been looking for and it’s thanks to this system. It’s clarity and bass is the best I have heard in a long time. I highly recommend especially for the price.

Excellent sound, with 4 speakers and the Sound bar and 2 subwoofers it provides very impressive quality sound. It really does give you that theater like experience. I would highly recommend the Nakamichi 9.2.4

I originally purchased this at the black Friday price of 999$, but due to the amount they sold it was canceled. At that price point, it’s a solid purchase with some exceptions. Pros: bass. A lot of bass. 2 Rear speakers connect to each sub for simplicity Soundbar is easy Good “enough” quality Good for small rooms (think 10x14) Cons: No speaker calibration capabilities Underwhelming soundbar volume, when high action movies playing the sound effects should be highlighted but seem to get lost No Bluetooth app for making adjustments The display on the soundbar is all you have to see what you are doing, it’s tiny. The Atmos seems to be automatic, you don’t get to tell the soundbar how the Atmos is turned on it just “works”, for claiming it has Atmos and not really allowing you to choose how the Atmos speakers are setup it seems like it’s a marketing tactics. For a home theater room, I had high aspirations for this system, but the end result was that isn’t what it could be. It’s a mid-range soundbar at the price point of other flagship soundbars from Sony and LG that offer apps and better capabilities (just lacking in the additional rear channels/subwoofer). There’s no Bluetooth app, no Atmos adjustments and ultimately an underwhelming experience. If you have never had an AV receiver with 5.1 sound, even at an onkyo price range ($450 range) you would think it’s awesome. The lowest end home theater package however does more than this does, and leaves you headroom to pick up a second sub. I ultimately returned this to pick up an AV receiver with an on-screen setup. If you don’t care about the added feature set and want the simplicity of the soundbar, this could very easily be your best setup.

Fantastic and powerful sound...old timers audiophiles like me trust the legendary Nakamichi brand as an excellent product....
